It's a sad fact that while generals have been considered cancerous forever, the few remaining functional parts of the site are a few generals that have managed to survive their schizoposters.
 
Why the fuck does 4chan not have a report option for ban evasion (which is CLEARLY against the rules since you get banned for it constantly) when there are retards who extremely blatantly ban evade all the time
I don't even care about ban evasion since most of them are arbitrary but when it's literal pedophiles who just shit up entire boards and threads
 
Artificial or not, this IP range "abuse" shit's annoying via mobile. All last week, site-wide I'm apparently off the hook at the dead of night, around Midnight or so, but only sometimes and the usual Airplane Mode off/on shtick hasn't worked nor has letting the good boy cookie points fester for an hour or whatever. 4chan can't go under any slower.

Not to mention there's no report for 'Ironic shitposting' despite it being a main contributor to the site's downfall in sincerity.
I don't think the tranny jannies even know what half the reports mean anyway even through they ignore the majority of blatant rule breakers.
Most of the options are old holdovers when the site was insular and these days I'd argue some
are arbitrary -- GETs, Saging out loud and "Garbage outside of /b/" -- and need rewording, removal or be replaced.
It's even more retarded when you get warned/banned for something that's not even in the report options for certain boards, like being hit for "flamewaring" on /vr/.

I don't bother reporting stuff anymore unless I know the jannies are going to take sure action - basically someone uploading pedophilia, or anons posting obvious NSFW on blue boards. In my experience, using the report function leads to jannies looking for any excuse to ban your ass so you don't disrupt their goon sessions anymore. I got banned once for a three-week old post in a thread that was already archived shortly after reporting someone else, that's how petty they can be.

Kiwi is the only really active forum I have seen lately for content among hobbies like table top or gaming, RPGcodex is very dead in its alt game forums for instance. I kind of hate it when both 4channers or redditors or xitter users all cry about forums being dead. Because the people complaining often have thousands upon thousands of posts of their associated websites the hard pill to sallow is 4chan/reddit/twitter allowing such easy access to posting let these platforms just take over. We all miss forums but the issue is a lot of these older forums all had immense issues of shitty mods, shitty users who judged your post count to your opinion, and overall resulted in mass exodus to reddit or 4chan to the point reddit/4chan will never truly die no matter how much controversy happened.

Website boycotts/leave campaigns used to work but after 2007? Once you find a niche you are not leaving

Forums are like war. They never change. The farms has all the same issues the old forums did too. Plenty of people judging you based on your join date and mods with bones to pick.

I took a trip through Allchan the other day and 4chan is still the healthiest imageboard. Every where else is dead, has a single schizo dominating the site or is so flooded with AI there's no content at all. 4chan have occasional on topic posts and more than 3 people posting a week puts it above all the others.

My old regular board is down to about ten readily identifiable samefagging schizos who never get banned. Some say they're given special leeway to keep up "PPM." You get banned for saying that, or for reporting anything except somebody saying that.
