I haven't been able to post in several hours. Meanwhile new posts and threads keep popping up. I'm beginning to think king jeet went full retard and this is another one of those blanket blocks disguised as a technical issue. Maybe my browser fingerprint doesn't give enough shabbos goy vibes. This level of incompetence mixed with malice is unreal.

Edit: and it's fixed? now I can post normally again without waiting times (for how long?). Still, it's fucking embarrassing that this took two whole days to fix.

Edit 2: Nope! the posts appear to go through but it's all fake, the posts didn't get submitted -- effectively acting like a shadowban. The assassination of 4chan by the coward RapeApe. RIP in pizzas.

Edit 3: Now my posts show up again but post submission time is back to being super slow. Some other anons complain about their posts being eaten. They have no fucking idea what they're doing. Vibe coding or jeet coding? Baffling display.

Seems like posts aren’t going through at all again. There doesn’t appear to have been a post on the site in the past 10+ minutes.

/m/ was one of the most blatantly corrupt boards for a long time, on par with /co/. Modniggers would ban you just for having opinions they didn't like. Unlike /co/ it had a pretty good userbase who did a good job carrying on board culture for years. I miss those faggots.

What would be the point? The nature of the Internet today means that any anonymous imageboard with an appreciable amount of users will be inundated with bad actors, who out of schizophrenic retardation and/or spite will make it their mission in life to completely drive down the quality of discussion by flooding the catalog with garbage and samefagging in threads.

For imageboards to be worth using outside of some obscure niche corners you'd need to go back to a time when the Internet wasn't filled to the brim with schizos, troons, third worlders and lowest common denominator normalfags, because unfortunately the non-existent barrier to entry and diminished gatekeeping (I can't even remember the last time I saw someone get told to "lurk moar", not to mention people actually engage seriously with tripfags and Reddit screencaps instead of flaming them until the thread 404s) means these people will run roughshod until it's an utter cesspool of gooners forever making "Is coffee good for you?"-esque posts. Pseudonymity at least presents a barrier to entry and manages to filter out the retards since they can't help but oust themselves sooner or later.

While this is true, altchans can have so little going on that it can be hard to post without felling like I'm spaming. That said I have been looking at allchans.org, and it looks like there has been a wave of new altchans.

And that appears to be the only size it has ever been posted, at least consistently, on 4chan (as far as the archive lets me easily tell) until this one asshole saved the thumbnail from desuarchives and tried to pass it off as an "old relic." That single lying gay nigger homosexual is the only time it has ever been posted at 250x192 on /m/.

Edit: I got curious and wanted to see if it was posted to any other boards at that size. And it was. It was posted once more on the same day by the same faggot on /tg/ in a dead thread by a faggot who wanted to powerlevel about the shitty show Aquarion Logos. It was so obvious, I should have seen it earlier. That bullshit post was made by DuelGundam2099, an eternal loser and cow so minor that he tried to jerk himself off here under the name "Sailor Troon" before name changing to @Space Police and then catching a ban for being an obnoxious faggot. He has a lunatic obsession with 4chan's mecha board the same way some incel might become obsessed with a girl who tells them to get lost.

I still think it can work, you just need moderation who aren't bad actors themselves. Put me in Hiro. Give me the keys to the kingdom and I'll clean it up real good. Third order of business: implement measures against the spammers. It's insane how I've been seeing some of the same low effort spam threads for half a decade.
