Feedback accidental featured thread?

Yo for some reason the mighty wings thread showed up as featured and I replied to it cuz why not...
But then my post was deleted because I bumped an old thread. Which leads me to think it was featured by accident or something (or trolling). Just letting you knowwww :)
 
There was a moment yesterday when about two or three old threads were featured back to back within 10 or so minutes of each other, so I'm assuming that it was an accident, or an error, and I would assume that the staff are aware.

My advise is just to ignore it.

I'll try to include more information, I don't remember all the threads features, but I recall this thread from inner circle being one of the featured threads.

I mentioned it in another thread and linked to it. Then someone responded to it but deleted their post a couple minutes later, maybe deliberately triggering the featuring. Or a mod was trolling. I think threads end up there automatically by traffic or manually by mods.
 
I was on call when the thread was featured.
First order of business was that :catparty: replied to the Mighty Wings thread, necroing it from it's 2+ year old slumber, something that that #pronkmaster loves to do. I deleted that and thought the sanctity of the Mighty Wings thread was safe, but then I saw other posts flocking into that thread. Well, it lead me to suspect foul play and lo and behold, as I loaded the front page, I saw it being featured. I featured the newest Chris thread in response, but people still kept responding to the Mighty Wings thread! What kind of a vile necromancer could be behind such a dastardly plot? Well, turns out that AnOminous here had hyperlinked it in one of the threads and that caused additional people to go back and reply to the 2+ year old Chris facebook update :sighduck:.

I have no idea who featured the thread, though. Probably a rogue operator with the power to feature threads.

Why do the moderators not want us to talk about Mighty Wings? What do they not want us to know? I feel like this is something we need to know and our beloved agent @TrippinKahlua should go through the thread for us and find out the truth.
 
Maybe a fan needs to send him another $500 gift card so Chris can field test if the Mighty Wings in McDonald's restaurants in Virginia are still good and not infected with Ebola by ISIS.
