Not necessarily. According to two African college professors (West Africans from two different countries) and an African in one of their classes, the Africans are a communal centered people where you're expected to support your extended family and related families. In turn they support you. That's why Africa is so corrupt (politicians are expected to help their kin) but also why it takes a huge war for people to actually starve.

Those huts make sense when your lifestyle means you just sleep there/take shelter there from shitty weather. Africans got out and touched grass, just like Indians (both dot and feather) and Neolithic Europeans who lived in similar huts.

They aren't, chicken is a luxury in much of Africa since they use them for their eggs, like everywhere else did before the rise of battery cages and cheap chicken. Bugs are for poor people.
