After a long hiatus and discussion of him not being allowed to return, Alex Jones did a 5 hour hangout with Joe Rogan on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast. I ran about 4 hours of it in the background last night, and its probably one of the better shows he's done in terms of entertainment. Alas, not everyone has a sense of humor, and like Joe predicted, people are whining about him platforming a conspiracy theorist. They go through the usual subjects; drugs, flat Earth, aliens, extra dimensions, ManBearPig, and other crazy government shit. I figured I'd compile some of the "to be expected" responses and reactions.

While looking up these clips, I noticed a lot of people complaining that the podcast got millions of views in a few hours, yet didn't show up as trending anywhere.

P.S. Bring back the Salt Mine so people actually know where these threads are supposed to go.

Fucking hell. I thought most of Rogan's fans were on da right?

Joe talked over Alex so much in this, you could even tell Alex was getting frustrated at the fact

Here's one I just noticed. That video is currently at 4.2 million views. When you go to the page its posted on, look at the list of videos, and sort them by views, it doesn't even show up. I'm not super well versed with the way YouTube functions, but is that normal?

Alex Jones is a lolcow.
Eh, I think he’s a lolcow in the same way Jace was: he’s putting on an act that’s so over the top and crazy that it’s worhy of mockery, although unlike Jace from Deagle Nation, I think some of that is kinda just his personality. I’d say the people that actually think he’s a Neo-Nazi are more lolcowish than him himself because you can just do what most people do and ignore him or chuckle at him instead of thinking he’s anything more than your boomer tier conservative that loves Israel a bit to much

Have you ever seen Alex Jones interviewing people? Joe talking over him is just a result of him knowing Alex Jones, and knowing that the only way for this podcast to not be a 5 hour long uninterrupted increasingly-psychotic rant is to sometimes just interrupt him, because if you don't bulldoze Jones, he bulldozes you. He loves talking over people.

Personally, my favourite thing is how Alex Jones, a few weeks ago, said that he received a mission from God to destroy Joe Rogan. He talked about how Joe Rogan was a CIA operative, how he was paid for by George Soros to deplatform him, and how Joe Rogan was a deep state attack on him that he had to destroy in order to unleash the war against corruption. How did it all get solved? "We talked on the phone and cleared the air." I guess god's a fickle dude.

Also:

"hmm, yeah" - Joe Rogan

I watched the first 50 minutes or so before realizing I'll probably better appreciate it with copious amounts of marijuana, so I'm gonna finish it tonight when I get home from work and have a bong on hand.

That said, I've got mad respect for Jaime for being able to keep up with Alex's insane soliloquies, and the blue-checkmark outrage is just icing on the cake. I'm also pretty happy that him and Rogan seem to have patched things over, because watching them feud for me felt like having to deal with my two favorite uncles having an intense and heated argument over Thanksgiving dinner.
