Retarded and autistic: modern parents having children very late causing genetic damage is one of the primary reasons IMO but there are others. Autism is a buzzword and there are plenty of totally normal people (largely women) larping as spergs for attention and asspats
ADHD: I believe it's a real condition but only about 1% of the people who claim they "have ADHD" actually have it, kids being inattentive has always been a problem (they're KIDS), but I think it's mainly caused by kids not getting enough exercise, being given too much time with digital devices from an early age, and the overall school experience being extremely rigidly structured and ran by completely useless people who see any deviation from Scientifically Established 21st Century Child Behavior Protocol(TM) as a critical problem that they can't fix by disciplining the child and improving the teaching itself, so they twist it into a neurological condition and have the kids doped up on hard drugs. 50 and 100 years ago we already had troublesome kids who wouldn't listen in class. Instead of being put on amphetamines, they got their asses caned and then they let out their excess energy during recess, and all they turned out just fine in the end.

Inclusion is another thing that exacerbates the problem. When Teach has to spend 50% of every class personally teaching DeShawn how to calculate 2 + 1 and he doesn't understand / give a fuck (of course in niggers being retarded and troublesome is normal and not an indicator of "having ADHD" according to soyience) and the white kids feel bored and demotivated, they get seen as the sick ones.

Pharma companies pathologizing normal human behaviors so they can sell treatments and therapies.

Mentally ill behavior being encouraged by parents for social benefits and gibs.

Environmental pollution bulding up in people's bodies, particularly in city-dwellers (search up all the trace chemicals found in your nearest body of water, it's terrifying).

And a phenomenon I like to call pseudo-autistics - internet-addicted kids who aren't actually autistic, but spend so little time socializing in person that they never developed their social skills and thus resemble real autistics.

People talk about the feminization of the education system a little, and people love to bring up that women now make up the majority of college students, but nobody talks about the effect it's had on the lower grades. Besides, most cases are the result of inherited genes. The difference between now and long ago is children surviving into adulthood was once something most autists couldn't do due to co-morbid health conditions, not to mention the typical infant mortality of those times precluded even many perfectly healthy children from living beyond early childhood.

They're often seen together or featuring mild traits of the other when diagnosing. I know a family with 4 children. One diagnosed with ADHD, two others autism. One is clearly more functional than the other two yet exhibits similar if more mild traits. I should also mention the youngest child is seemingly free of any condition. Go figure.
