I can't remember if I first saw this analogy on /pol/ or Kiwifarms, but it seems very fitting to me so I'm voting Very Accurate. Perhaps you can say the devastation to nerd communities started in the mid-late 2010s, but it definitely seems to have torn many of them apart.

At my job(programming, fairly nerdy field) - not a single tranny. At the TTRPG club that I used to attend - not a single tranny. At a local gamedev meetup - 1 whole tranny.
