@Android Raptor Hate Thread

Nobody said it was.
Unfortunately there are people that say exactly that, particularly on tumblr-ish parts of the internet. Like I said earlier, there are people calling My Hero Acadamia yaoi CSAM in all seriousness and psyopping retarded terminally online teens into calling themselves pedophiles because they like Macadamia yaoi.

Perhaps, but we're not arguing about Reddit or Tumblr's opinions.
We aren't? Because that's a big part of why I think there needs to be a clear distinction between fictional content vs. Actual child abuse. It's not exactly a new thing either.

It was discussed a decent bit in the "MAPs on tumblr" thread back when there was a tumblr subforum. Especially since from what I remember people who called themselves MAPs (pedophiles) on tumblr was roughly half dumb psyopped teens and half actual pedophiles (who were in direct contact with said retarded teens, which was the worst part).

Fictional characters don't have to spend the rest of their lives dealing with BPD or cPTSD
Another strawman? It's victimless and nobody suggested otherwise, but it's still obscene. That's the claim, stick to it,

Then be glad they're not judges in the court of law.

Still pretty shitty they exist in the first place, especially since they inadvertently caused particularly stupid and poorly supervised teens to interact with actual pedophiles.

Social media in general was... I remember Musk saying before he bought Twitter that these "MAPs" basically went unchecked. Meanwhile we were getting banned for "misgendering".
Oh there's still plenty of pedos on twitter, the only thing Musk has done is unban a bunch of nazis and make the spam/pornbot problem much worse.

Tumblr was particularly bad with pedos, not just because of the MAP thing (and retarded fiction police shit that psyopped dumb teens into MAP tumblr), but they were also godawful with deleting actual CP and banning pedos who were harassing minors. There has always been zero human moderation and their moderation algorithms just break the site.

IIRC Tumblr banning porn was their solution to the CP problem instead of, y'know, actually getting human moderators to delete that shit/ban pedos/report to law enforcement. And of course they enforced the ban via the shitiest algorithm possible that flagged a bunch of stuff that perfectly SFW as porn and booted people for (one of my friends got banned because it flagged a pic of her bird on her bird blog as porn). Meanwhile actual porn (and I'm sure CP) has skirted the algorithm.

CP is a problem on 4chan, but at least it's always seemed like it gets removed pretty quickly. When fucking 4chan deals with CP better than big social media sites, something is seriously wrong.

Why are you pretending you did not notice until now? Lying bitch.
No forreal, I have never exclusively been talking about phenomenon ITT. People abusing terms related to real abuse is everywhere and been a problem for years.

You probably can't get rid of all of them or their networking, but since he drew attention to it directly and claimed to increase efforts to combat it, I don't see a reason not to consider thst good. Putting a spotlight on a problem is good even if you can't completely fix it.

I don't use Tumblr, but that probably worked to remove the bulk of such images, I'd assume, so mission accomplished in that regard.

That's a good point lol

Musk mostly put a spotlight on the fact that he's an idiot. If anything he increased the amount of pedos given how many wignat/AF/etc weirdoes are pedos (often openly).

I don't have that much confidence in tumblr. I just stopped using the site years ago.

Technically that may be true, because he's not really banning many liberals, and so if he's mostly unbanning people instead then regardless of who he's unbanning there's going to be a net increase. If he really wanted to make a difference he'd purge the LGBT.
