This is pretty specific to Trump vs Democrats and if I was American I'd have voted for Trump based on this alone, but usually conservative parties are lot more hawkish and interventionist than the liberal ones and I'm pretty sure the Republicans will go back to warmongering the second they get rid of Trump.

I think leftist policies are generally better at controlling crime and recidivism, unless you go full hard-right fascist to stamp out all crime, which I wouldn't like. America's big cities (and America in general tbh) are just retard-tier dropping the ball on controlling their crime.

Its just one of the many priorities the federal government has right now instead of doing anything reasonable. I think it should just be a matter of lesser evil for most people. The dems are too busy sucking off trannies and importing the third world to do anything important like reducing the price gouging of pharmaceutical companies.

I'd have thought so too during Trump's first term, but now he has popular copycats, much to the mainstream media's chagrin. If he wins then it'll cement that even more, assuming things go as well under him as they did before (it's never gonna be perfect).

When I say 'far-right fascism' I'm talking more about caning people for chewing gum in Singapore or having the cops summarily execute anyone they think is on meth in the Phillapines. I'd prefer putting up with some petty crime over living in a totalitarian dystopia like that.

Giving life without parole to pedophile murderers is normal and expected to everyone but the worst of the far-left retards. I have no idea why you'd let a guy like that out in the first place.
