look this is a genuine post so im not going to be a dick about it but the entire rhetorical premise of just shrugging something like that off is legitimate insanity. "most people who take this drug improve in a clinical environment but a small minority may deteriorate or become psychotic" is not something that justifies the response of mildly shrugging at such a dichotomy. that's some deep, fucked up, kafkaesque choice given to people that are likely on the precipice of a mental health crisis.

i have no issues with the drug itself because it clearly works to a significant enough portion of the population it is being administered to - but pretending that the side effects of SSRIs are something that deserves the levity of a mild shrug is one of the greatest horrors of the modern medical apparatus. i say that with personal experience - these drugs cause greater phychological dependance than benzodiazepines and a risk of suicide statistically significant enough to warrant the doctor giving you a special pamphlet and they hand it out like allergy medicine

I have to wonder if there was a disagreement about drugs or money changing hands and then this happened. If you fall asleep around Andy Dick then you’re asking for trouble. A sore asshole would almost be expected. I literally cannot think of someone I’d feel less comfortable sleeping around.
