The reason why the Leafy and other CCs of the past before worked was because he had the rest of the informal YouTube community behind his back. Those CC videos weren't just petty critics of other YouTubers because iDubbbz just so happened to not like said YouTuber, he expressed what the general community felt at the time with his own twist.

But now, if he were to do a CC on Venti, who does he have to back him up? He lost a lot of relevance these days. He doesn't have that Big Tent YouTube influence anymore. Plus despite what most people think, Venti isn't as well known or as hated in the general YouTube sphere unlike Leafy or Jinx. She'll always be the token-totally-not-an-egirl-darling of the B&R community.
If he were to try forge any alliances, it would be hard as well.
It sure as hell wouldn't be Breadtube with hbomberguy and Quinton because while Breadtube might be against Venti because of her being associated with B&R types, iDubbbz has a very politically incorrect background and they'd probably cancel him. I doubt Pewds and his fans would back him up unless Pewds himself literally says "Okay don't be a Simp but iDubbbz is an exception mmmkay?" verbatim in one video. It'd be just his hardcore fans left which I'm sure are way more than Venti's, but Venti can call on any B&R person (I don't know if she's still on good terms with Nick Fuentes but probably if she still is then he'd chip in too) to cancel that out and further cement iDubbbz's new reputation as a cuck and simp.

tldr: iDubbbz lashing back will worsen his already declining status. Best he can do is to try shake it off down the road and hopefully do a project that can overshadow it.

I can promise you that not even the dirtbag left will take Ian and Pewds is (smartly) playing things safe these days. He's gotten a lot more careful since the last scandal. So backing up a guy who throws the N word around? Not happening. I don't see the commentary community like Cody Ko or H3 backing him up because they've gotten way cleaner as well. Maaaaybe Nerd City since they seem tight?

Also, Anisa was a self-proclaimed Pick Me and anti-feminist for a while, so the Breadtubers DEFINITELY won't take interest in this. Even the ones who are trying to ally with Shoe0nhead know that shit won't be profitable.

iDubbbz's schtick really was too particular and edgy to age well. He's been defanged completely. So was Joji but 1) Joji never made any money as Frank and so never relied on youtube anyway and 2) He was smart enough to cut and run. iDubbbz seems only smart in one very particular area, unlike his old buddy.

This will effect Idubz videos worse than I think most people give it credit. His super popular videos are his content cops, and as he states in his Leafy content cop, a big part of criticizing or making fun of people in an authentic and good-natured way is also feeling comfortable getting made fun of.

Slender-man Gangnam style and his old cringey gaming videos are easy to play off in a self-deprecating way, but nobody is going to take you seriously or believe in your lack of insecurity when you went from content cop to content cuck.

I remember having a discussion with one of my friends awhile ago on how it's not becoming less edgy or avant-garde on YouTube, it's the fact that YT became a job to people. Making money and playing safe is more beneficial to these people than making things they want or enjoy. Now they need to police themselves because they only have AdSense. I don't think that should be a thing, and considering how people now make money on the most dull and obnoxious shit, it's killed the website for new and upcoming people.

It's a lot like the News. It used to be about reporting, investigating, actually doing news shit. In the 1970's, Dick Salant, the President of CBS News told the board of directors at a meeting that there was good news and bad news. The good news was they made a profit for the first time, which was also the bad news. Salant knew that once they made money, actual good stories and journalism would be crushed under the investors wanting good ratings and record profits.

The same is now true for YouTubers: they will sacrifice originality and actual humor because good forbid they lose their ad money and have to get a real job.

Breadtube's only influence is within its cult of faggotry. Beyond HBomberguy and Jame "Buffalo Bill" Gumb aka Contrapoints the other youtubers hardly hold any influence. And they could not flippantly cancel a major player like iDubbz.

And I can't stress how funny it is that the Breadtube is taking philosophical advice by a man in a dress that has to put layers of mascara on to look feminine.

Essentially he was the nerdy guy whose angle was that he ranted and mocked shitty products and especially stupid Kickstarter pitches. He then became really big by doing "Content Cop" where he directly lambasted annoyingly popular Youtubers.

If you have to watch any Idubbz video was "Full Force" where he spends an hour documenting the severely inbred. Hilariously gross video.

His production has slowed down heavily, which I'm guessing is because he's likely very rich from being so big when Google actually paid up for views. It makes it all the more intriguing that his girlfriend would be doing the cheap and dirty route of Ewhoring which should cause embarrassment for any normal dude.

Is content cop still gonna be a thing? I think Ian said a few months ago that he was working on more but given how YouTube change it's rules to make sure that things like content cop never exist again it's hard to say if that stopped the project definitively.
Also, kind of related, but where the fuck does Max gets all his money to buy his manchildren toys? That guy has quite worrying hoarding problem.
