Well, that was a depressing few minutes.

“The one channel that I really want to see weigh in on all this is Nerd City, who made a name for themselves doing incredibly highly edited Content Cop-esque content, most notably about Instagram thots. This would be- wait a fucking second aren’t they in Ian’s friend group?”

So I checked their Twitter, and immediately found collaborations with both EmpLemon and Rusty Cage, along with an unfunny, nonsensical Trump joke that they put way too much effort into with a costume and everything. And just as I thought, their last big video was a big collaboration with Max, Cage, and A4V.

I am no longer looking forward to them weighing in.

Then again, that line has been wrong enough times on this topic alone that really, one should probably expect many more clownings.

Anyone want to take bets that this is the string that unravels his YouTube Career? His biggest "wins" are joining forces essentially dog piling his ass.

Leafy, Keemstar, and ricegum are the perfect type of Internet leech to grow fat off of this sort of controversy. I only see Ian losing more and more as this goes on and by even making a video in the first place he's opened the door, so now he has to deal with whoever walks in. It's like Spider-Man became a simp and now the Sinister 6 is making fun of him online.

Meh, I thought his response was ok. He talked about it because it's the big thing but didn't have anything to say because there isn't much to say. I can't imagine Felix cares at all about this and he isn't going to go all bat-shit and call him out over something that doesn't ultimately matter

I agree with what you and others in the thread have said. I understand why Felix made the video but I wish he hadn’t. He’s shown in the past that he’s tired of YouTube drama and has stopped with Pewd News for now.

Hoping Leafy comes back—not because he’s good, but it’s fun to watch a shit storm go down during quarantine.

I feel like the the main point in why people are upset has been forgotten by the big youtubers, mainly: Anisa is an unlikeable person who tried to hide away from criticism by using people, like her dad's illness and idubbbz support and; Idubbbz is a hypocrit for dishing it out but not being able to take it back in, something that his whole leafy video was about. The best course of action would be to make videos like normal and ignore the drama as much as possible, though this is unlikely to happen as proven by the first video. The second best course of action would be to target an retarded video maker who perfectly exemplifies the strawman incel that criticised him for the onlyfans shit. Though again the video he made doesn't inspire confidence as Idubbbz isn't good at convincing the people actually annoyed why it is dumb to be annoyed.

With that in mind I think that it is understandable why he made the video. His girlfriend was being "harassed". It doesn't matter who is right or wrong you, almost, always side with loved ones before strangers.
To be honest I want to see leafster and edupps have a shit-flinging contest where both make parody videos of one another.

Here's what I have from back in that time. A lot are chats, but I did manage to autistically get a photo of his Nandos meal and hoodie when we went for food. You can see the flag with "HOT" written over it, along with the same hoodie in THIS video (I filmed him topping up his Myki, getting cash out, at the Gardens, and going down the ramp on his suitcase).
