Hello,
I have an unusual thread idea.
In this thread you can only post once per year.
Each post can only be the title of a single game and why you recommend it.
Try to choose games that are very likely to fall under people's radars.

I will start.
I recommend Vintage Story.
A game that on the surface looks like a minecraft clone, even moreso modded minecraft.
However I found it to be worth the buy due to just how in depth simply everything is. Seriously you should also look up the soundtrack.
Also has a strong modding scene.

Last call BBS and Baba is You.
Both are excellent puzzle games and both are very fun.
In Last Call BBS you are an early internet user who must boot into a BBS to download video games to your computer. Through a desktop, you navigate the BBS and download games like a Picross clone, a Gunpla emulator, and an electrical engineering simulation game. The puzzles are super challenging and the whole game feels incredibly rewarding. This is a Zachlike game if that means anything to you.

Baba is You.
Very simple. you are Baba the sheep. you control the logic of the game through word blocks that are scattered around a level. The word tiles consist of nouns corresponding to specific types of objects and obstacles on the field (such as Baba itself, the goal flag, walls and hazards, and other creatures). You then assemble the nouns and other words like NOT AND OR IS to assemble a simple phrase like ROCK IS PUSH in order to make all rocks in the level pushable.

Play Planescape Torment despite it being considered one of the best rpgs ever made I feel like it's hardly ever talked about. Truly a shame because it's a good time. It has one of if not the most immersive worlds in any game I've ever played.
