Anonymous is a decentralized international activist and hacktivist collective and movement primarily known for its various cyber attacks against several governments, government institutions, corporations, and the Church of Scientology. Dozens of people have been arrested for their involvement in Anonymous cyberattacks. It originally originated from 4chan in 2003 and reached the peak of its prominence in the late 2000s and early 2010s. Since around 2012 it fell out of the spotlight but this has changed in the past few years with individuals and groups claiming to "be" Anonymous popping up more and more.

Due to its nature, impersonating and pretending to be a member of it is rather simple. Often this consists of some kind of V for Vendetta imagery, distorted voices and ominous messaging. Most of the time what they say doesn't usually go anywhere. This has lead to Anonymous being increasingly easy to laugh at and mock as a concept.

We are Anonymous.
We are Legion.
We do not forgive.
We do not forget.
Expect us.

Its always been ironic that they use the Guy Fawkes mask, because the real Fawkes was a legitimate retard. He wanted the people of England to rise up and revive Catholicism within the region. His plan, you may be asking? Blowing up Parliament while the King, his family (including his heir), and his cabinet were there. And yet his plan failed on the account that someone who was part of the plan was too late to give him the signal. Just like most modern activists, he was a retarded terrorist too extreme, and too stupid, for his own good.

[current year] Anonymous is probably a division of the NSA.

Let's be honest, they are wearing that cringe mask because of the movie V for Vendetta.

Some dude cut me off on the highway today and no shit he had an anonymous mask in his back window. I was actually stunlocked for half a second when I saw it. I'd never seen one in real life. He also looked like a redditor and the kind of guy who would wear an anonymous mask.

I wonder why the Farms appears that high on the list. Is this a Liz Dong-Gone Op?

And you didn't immediately perform a pit maneuver on this faggot, why?

A recent "Anonymous" website that has popped up recently is one for Operation DreadNought.

Claiming it is here to fight against the fascism in the United States, it has a list of people and groups it deems to be evil. This notably includes Kiwi Farms.

Speaking from experience, these people (speaking about "ethical hackers" broadly) are the biggest snakes in the technology world. The vast majority of them are corporate and government bootlickers who are obsessed with being morally correct to the point of being untrustworthy and disloyal. Most believe that people should be thrown in jail for using bad words.

I bought an external wifi adapter recently off Amazon and the reviews were full of these people going “🤓👍golly, this wifi adapter sure is useful for my penetration testing on kali Linux!” . I’m willing to bet the only thing these people are penetrating is a strategically cut hole in a Serial Experiments Lain body pillow. I feel like if you were an actual hacker you wouldn’t be posting reviews under your real name on Amazon dot com of products that aided you in your hacking.
