I'm making my way through chapter 2.

It does feel a little samey but there's enough new gimmicks to keep it fun.

I don't think it's worth the (high) asking price though so I pirated it.

oh yeah for sure. Here in India we play the World of Poo variant where you join poo balls together to make bridges. Poo is even sticker than goo so it works well.

Have you ever downloaded Flashpoint (that lets you still play these games) and re-played some of the free online Flash games from 20 years ago we thought were amazing back then? Notice how by today's standards of anything they look and feel like total shit?

Flash was fun indeed but it was also total shit, that's why they were free. If you want a quality game hand over sheckles or visit the pirate bay to try it out.

Plenty of good games have been developed in Flash. The most famous one I can think of is The Binding of Isaac. It was expansive enough for talented people to make excellent games with it.

Often I do end up buying games I pirate if I like them. I see it as a way of "renting" or trying out games first just incase I dislike them and play them once (which has happened).
