Americans, both in the left and the right, constantly use migrants and refugees in political discussions when it comes to topics like cultural shifts, demography, and job shortages. All of their points are valid in their own ways, but they get this one thing wrong...
They're complaining about an issue that they themselves have caused.
Your tax money is being used to create the same conditions that causes people from multiple parts of the world to flee their countries in the first place.
Many refugees and migrants coming to Western nations would LOVE to stay in their countries, and they do want to stay in their own countries because no one wants to lose years of their lives trying to adapt somewhere else. But, their future was stolen from them due decades of bombings, occupations, political assassinations, sanctions, illegal selling of firearms, and coups.
The US is no Kyrgyzstan. It's a global superpower with control over the global financial system with its currency, the international policy via the UN with its veto power, and influence over trade deals and routes. They won two World Wars and the Cold War.
Basically, the whole world order we know from birth was built for and by them throughout the century. And, during the Cold War, being under America's sphere of influence with its free markets, liberal democracy, and religious freedom was more appealing in comparison to Soviet atheist autocracy. However, since there's no "enemy" to justify its own rule throughout the world, the US ended up creating their own. There would be no Putin today if Yeltsin's Russia worked and had the reforms it needed.
Washington's weaponization of their financial institutions with its sanctions cripples economies, that pushes millions of people to extreme poverty while causing food shortages to children. That gives people no other choice but to migrate in search of a better life. Look at places like Venezuela, people leave not because they want to, or because they want an "easy life", but because life has become so unlivable and unbearable due to economic collapse that being anywhere else would be an upgrade. Ironically enough, sanctions strengthen and often times legitimize regimes because the economic burden they go thru can be blamed on external influence, as opposed to internal ones. Citizens suffer, but the leadership stays intact.
Even its own allies, the Europeans—are paying a heavy price due to Washington's actions. Do you think that there would be as many Arabs in western Europe if it wasn't due to their escalations? What about the pressure the US puts on its own allies for denying entry for the refugees that they themselves have created?
Orbán's Hungary for example, will end up on Russia's sphere of influence due to their unwillingness to accept migrants, any nation that refuses to bow down to Washington's is punished. Germany had its Nord Stream bombed.
Leftists aren't innocent either, they're complicit as well.
It disgusts me to see so many leftists advocate for welcoming refugees, celebrating diversity, or even using demeaning neologisms like "PoC".
But, these ghouls never seem to put pressure in their own government to make regions stable, thus making those refugees' home countries better, so, you know... the "People of Color" are happy? Inside their own countries? As opposed to make them end up somewhere else just to be treated like a pet by Westerners who use them as a talking point?
Instead of supporting a stable foreign policy that alleviates conditions in same said regions, leftists JUSTIFY MASS MIGRATION AND CONFLICTS.

For those on the left who sees migration as a solution, I ask them: Are you just filling low-paying jobs to keep the economy running? Many refugees and migrants live in fear of being deported back to hellish conditions they fled, which makes them vulnerable to your propaganda.
While the left boasts about inclusion, they ignore that all these traumatized people keep voting for them SOLELY out of the fear of being deported, so they will vote for them again, and again, and again, and again. Basically, free votes forever. The more refugees, the better.
TLDR - The United States went batshit retarded in the last decades, so instead of blaming migrants and refugees, it's better to recognize that the US' heavy handed approach to its allies, potential allies, and enemies caused millions of people worldwide to leave their homes. Whoever wins in '24 needs to unfuck the world as soon as possible, and then go "America First". Not go America First right away while keeping the refugee faucet running. If they do, in 4 years you will see more refugees. Make the world so stable that no one needs to leave their homes anymore. Leftists, stop using the suffering of others to earn votes. Promote peace, fair trade, and sustainable foreign policies, so they can go back home safe and sound. That's a better investment than printing infinite monopoly money for yet another international adventure.
