(Sorry if this is the wrong board, wasn't 100% sure if it should go here or not.)

The video in question:

I am only about 6 mins in at the time of posting, but Philion has already:
- Stated that the OK hand sign being racist was started as a 4-chan joke to troll the media into thinking it is a symbol of racism. Then he states that the OK sign is actually racist because according to him, white supremacists actually started using it for real.
- BAYC deciding to use monkeys is explicitly and deliberately for the purpose of being racist to black people. The evidence for this claim are some A-list rappers, who we all know are the arbiters of truth and the keepers of human culture in its entirety, saying that the BAYC monkeys are meant to be racist caricatures.

As I said, I am only 6 1/2 mins in, so I can't wait to see what else he says.

Damn, Philion really went off the deep end after his Noel Dyezel video flopped.

EDIT:
Watched Philions video and watched Upper Echelons gaming's video too. They both hit the same core bulletpoints, for the most part even in the same order and both these videos came around the same time and credit the same person too. Now normally this would hint at this being a gay op, but we don't have to speculate, Upper Echelon straight up says in the start of his video that he was directly contacted with a document containing all this stuff.

So yeah this is a big gay op spearheaded by a somehow even more schizophrenic twink version of Alex Jones going by Ryder Ripps. Though it's not unlikely he's just the face and this is a multi-sided gay op.

Philion is a massive attention whore that consistently failed at getting it. He tried being a fitness blogger, though after it turned out he had terrible muscle building genetics he switched over to the Natty or Not type content and that worked for awhile. This whole investigative journalism thing is just the latest grift to get attention and it doesn't surprised me he tried to go balls deep into this. This makes the ending of his video calling people sheep even funnier considering he is being played like a sheep.

Obviously not. The levels of schizo posting required to believe that BAYC is some elaborate nazi troll show just how far the left has fallen in the absence of any actual pushback in popular culture. Though, now that this thought has been expressed, I expect that the combination of leftists unironically and rightists ironically repeating that BAYC is racist will make it so.

He claims link between world is "the most obscure zelda title" when it's like one of the only ones in the last 8 years or so that isnt a port and had a shitload of hype surrounding it. It also sold more copies than majora's mask according to some sales statistic a friend was looking at at when I was talking about this dumbass video with him. I also justremembered there was a fucking joke in rick and morty about a real world sale that happened where nintendo 3ds' that were bundled with the game that people fucking exploited because of how good of a discount it was. The guy acts like the name "yuga" being tied to kali yuga is some grand revalation when it's literally part of the reason yuga in zelda is named yuga and i'm pretty sure it's listed on the wiki pages for that zelda bad guy.

For every somewhat believable point the video spits out like 3 points like the fucking "zelda reference is actually a nazi occult reference!!" thing.

Who would have thought that a bunch of white nationalist nazis would be so ethnically diverse and culturally well read.

Lol Ryder is literally selling the same types of bored apes, the man is pulling the rug on this fucker. Poor Phillion the fucker became a schizo with some surface level shit.

lawsuit, duh

Yuga Labs goes ape on Ryder Ripps

The Bored Ape Yacht Club has had some very serious allegations levied at it recently, but its founders are swinging into action to defend the project. Talk about guerilla warfare.

  • “We’ve become the target of a crazy disinformation campaign” wrote Yuga Labs’ Gordon Goner (Wylie Aronow, IRL), after a video went viral examining accusations that BAYC contains hidden Nazi and racist messages, plus promoting a knock off NFT set as a form of consumer protest.
  • The founders are now suing their accuser, the artist Ryder Ripps, for trying to devalue BAYC NFTs and “scamming consumers”. Meanwhile, others have been examining Ripps’ claims in more detail: a recent deep dive into co-founder Greg Solano’s online history didn’t find any evidence to support the accusations against him.
  • How is APE coin doing with all this drama, you ask? Well, not badly actually. The token is on its fifth day of gains after a 13% gain last week, and rallied 16% on Sunday before settling down somewhat after a new Bored Ape-themed video with Eminem and Snoop Dogg garnered some excitement.
  • ‘Philion’ has now started a #BURNBAYC campaign, asking crypto influencers and celebs alike to burn their Bored Ape NFTs and buy a copypasta collection of BAYC made by internet artist Ryder Ripps. The collection apparently strips the “racist imagery” from the Bored Ape NFTs and aims to further undermine Yuga Labs.
Don't buy the racist NFTs, guys. Buy these other ones my friend made that I definitely won't make any money from!
