Are the farms the only truly free speech board left?

Honestly, when posting on the farms I don't filter at all. Well I do but only in the sense that I try to not be a total niggerfagget, as I would when talking to friends.
But even self censoring isn't enough to please them now. Building a rep on the farms is fun, doing it on reddit feels like I'm a glownigger, ought to get paid for it.
It's all so tiresome.

Solution
Imo, it's as close as it gets to it.

Similarly, I don't hold back here. Neither do I in my normal life, but maybe I mind my language and audience a bit more then.

There are limits, because at the end of the day, it's still a community. If your free speech is an issue to the survival of the community, it might take a bit of a hit. And that's understandable.

I can't think of another place where you can be this honest. At the end of the day, I think that what makes KF strong and resistant is the fact that there is a culture, and it serves as somewhat of a self policing guidance.

You might be able to get away with more here than anywhere else, But people will fuck with you more than anywhere else if you are a retard. It goes both...
Is kiwi farms really free speech? I like to think of this place as just reddit where you can say nigger.
Well, it IS more than that. On plebbit, I have to build a rep to not get my posts auto removed by a bot, just so, after liking millions of "wholesome" memes and applauding transtion timelines, I will still get banned and removed for commenting on russians buzzing nato planes by literal nafo? NO!

Ok, I'm out of premeditated macros to hammer home my disappoinment.

but it's not the absolute pinnacle of free-speech
Which would be? I didn't use reddit for almost a decade besides lurking but it's just so insanely locked down, like everything else, I don't know. It's not even a late realization. I knew it, sure. But I only recently really felt it. Reddit was always lame and gay. I think what really sets in is that it's now a mass platform, like twitter or faceberg, you don't really feel like you're doing "internet" anymore. you instead feel as if you are at some schhool parent's meeting. No real takes from real people but not that dead internet vibe of X either, it's just really disgusting. It's yes-man central.

Kiwifarms is freer than most other sites, but it's not the absolute pinnacle of free-speech (and I'm not talking about allowing terrorist threats or similar posts), that's for sure.
Aside from a random banning because someone got on Null's nerves, it seems just about as free as possible. Maybe too free, liberals should be banned.

If Kiwifarms didn't have mood-swings (or "passionate" phases) from the Admin, it would be better, but whatever.

The best bet would probably be having a group of friends that you know even if only online, and create a private group to discuss stuff.

If you're posting "in the wild", some moron/auto-check set by a moron could potentially censor it, so you'll have to be lightweight on those posts. A few months ago I would probably recommend Discord (in the right server, very important), but after seeing how incompetent they are in there (support is run by literal apes), there's no way I can do so.

Yeah, but that still seems troublesome to me.

Last time it happened when I was around was a disaster. Not going to go into details because this topic always gets bad blood in the way, between certain parties.

Yeah, but that's not what I'm looking for on the internet, I want to find new people with new takes and shout at them in all caps with no strings attached.
The problem really is that people treat the internet as an extension of their real life personae. It should be what it is, an interconnected series of tubes with random people you may never meet otherwise mashing their thunk into their keyboards, every man should be free to fight his own wars here.
Honestly the whole criticism leveled at @Null feels somewhat legit but it doesn't phase me, here I feel like I'm attending some renaissance court where everybody I shitting into buckets and only the people who endanger the status quo of never ending aristocratic debauchery and high brow shit flinging get beheaded in the court yard from time to time and even that is always a spectacle.

Well you see, I could go in depth on why this site isn't completely on board with free speech, but by doing so I would have to criticize Null and the way he chooses to moderate the forum and I don't want to get banned.

Well, at least you can try being funny enough while doing it, like a court jester. Here everything is more of a skill issue but you don't have to play pretend whereas on reddit you basically have to lie before you are even allowed to post.

Fair enough. I haven't used reddit in fucking years so perhaps that was a bad example. I still think kiwi farms is better described as "the last bastion of nigger" than "the last bastion of free speech".

It might not be an absolute, but I think nowhere else comes close.

Yep. And that's what is making me really shifty, lately. When rona hit, shit was often still funny and lax but the crackdown which then happened (mainly insane conspiracy boomers getting a taste of legal consequences for sperging about rona), really shows now. It was always foreseeable but the visible marker of this shift in gears was when twitter began with these W.H.O. annotations, as if people who are stupid enough to believe whatever shit was above were dissuaded and as if the rest was really that stupid in the first place. Right wingers pin it on the fake news moral panic 2016 but I think it was around rona.
I would've thought bored kids in lock-down would reinvigorate the internet culture but that hasn't happened which is worrisome overall.
I'm sitting in front of a glorified fax machine and people you interact with on it seem VERY concerned about how they come off and put much effort into not angering people who aren't even in the room with them, some will also kill themselves over what they read here, instead of building paper planes and aiming for the trash bin.
And wire fraud isn't less legal now than it ever was, so to speak, people are just more and more compliant and boring, even when being behind 9000 proxies was never easier.

By Jersh's own admission Kiwifarms isn't free speech but it is a lot less censored than most of the current internet and the people here are surprisingly more tolerant than most places I've been to.

It's the America of websites: not even particularly good, it's just that literally every alternative is so pozzed that it's the best by default.

Dude just go outside. Have friends and talk to them. Like, in a room together, through the air.

I earnestly believe there is a conscious push to relegate interpersonal communication to proprietary, technological platforms and mediums so that it can be policed. It is increasingly important to remember that none of that shit is real. By all means utilize the Internet as a resource for the dissemination of information, and do what you can to support the few avenues that continue to facilitate that dissemination unfaggoted, but don't put too much stock into anything anyone says to you from outside of punching distance. Don't let this gay retarded bullshit replace actual discourse in your life or you lose.
