Are there any biological advantages/disadvantages some races have over others?

The only one I know of (if I remember correctly) is that blacks with darker skin fend better off against the sun than those who are white or have lighter skin tones. Are there any others that I'm not aware of?

Yeah, my guess has always been that because white people were adapted to living in colder climates where A) seasonal shifts were much harsher, if you didn't establish and conserve and think ahead you'd fucking die B) there was a greater amount of solid building materials along with land to actually build things on (I'm sure rainforests have plenty of hard woods available, but there's very little firm ground), C) there were fewer immediate biological threats (obviously they were still around, but it's not like some Australian shit where there are things looking to kill you everywhere).

All in all that would lead to a selective pressure in colder climates towards more complex long-term thinking and away from focus on more present, straightforward thinking and physicality, and it would also produce a selective pressure towards having lighter skin. It's just that it's better to be more of a thinker if you live in a colder climate.

More interestingly is that it is only believed to work for the children of the tribe, and the physical abilities of the eye weaken enough by adulthood that whatever these adaptations are go away. So I wonder how it could have been on much use for them to evolve this in the first place.
