I noticed neither this game nor this dev had a thread here, and thought a few Kiwis here might be interested. But before we get to the game, allow me to introduce you to an indie dev named Dave Microwave Games. He has a patreon you can google if you're interested.
The Bear's name is Berry. It may or may not be evil. I'm not quite sure myself.
He's known for making horror fan games based on children's shows, like "Dora is Dead" where you play as Swiper trying to escape from an undead Dora who has had her legs chopped off and wants you legs... yeah, they tend to be "those" kind of fan games. He also has his own set of original horror games (one of which even got a crossover with Baldi's Basics). His games are almost strictly stealth horror games where you attempt to avoid monsters and killers, with getting caught usually being a gruesome death. The blocky style you see in that picture is found in nearly all of his games, and most of them run on Unreal Engine 4. He made a few Spongebob ones (3am at the Krusty Krab and 6am at the Chum Bucket. These two games have unrelated plots). Most of these games are roughly 30 minute adventures that can go one for an hour if you're really unlucky with your deaths, and/or a set of mix-and-match events. He's currently working on a game called Dave.EXE which is actually just him having a lot of fun with the tropes he's developed over the years.
But now we get to the main event: Around The Clock At Bikini Bottom. Teased in 2019 but finally released in 2021, this fan game serves as a sequel to the Jellien Episode (AKA the Invasion Of The Body Snatchers parody). Unlike most of his other fan games, this one is separate for a few reasons:
However, it is still a stealth horror game; if you hate the tropes of the genre, there's a lot of levels in this game that will piss you off. But if this seems like something you'd like to try out, you can try it out here or here.

- This was a large scale production with a small team behind it. It uses some original voice acting during gameplay (you can tell when it's archived show audio vs the impersonations, but the VAs do a good enough job).
- Compared to the "Ow The Edge" creepy-pasta try-hard nature of the earlier kids-horror games, this one is closer to the tone of the mainline show while still clearly being a horror game made for people who grew up watching it. It actually has a uncanny-valley tone to it, for the better I'd say.
- This game features a proper storyline with a beginning, middle, and end. It's roughly a 3-4 hour adventure assuming you get through each level with minimal fuss.
- There's several collectibles for each level. All of them feature a hidden Golden Spatula, a Goofy Goober Token, and a Platinum Good Noodle Star, with some less common rewards as well. There is a 100% bonus.
However, it is still a stealth horror game; if you hate the tropes of the genre, there's a lot of levels in this game that will piss you off. But if this seems like something you'd like to try out, you can try it out here or here.
