At what point is one a furry?

On the other hand some people who objectivly are furries like @mister meaner claim not to be.

So what exact makes a furry? What line does one have to cross to be considered one?

I was furry before the sexual aspects kicked in though. I didn't even know what a furry was. I liked the different emotions and ways of conveying said emotions through anthropomorphic animals. There's much more range of emotion you can get from combining the animal and human traits. Not only can you hear it in the voice, but you can be very clearly see it in the face. That probably really helps with autism/spergers because reading human emotion can be hard for them.

So it's probably when you start replacing humans with anthros in various scenarios as a form of expression. You relate more to the character in your art/stories. It's also easier when you don't have a stable family for fantasy to fill the gap.
