My reasons:

• The comments in A&N are often more entertaining than the stories themselves
• You get a chance to see everyone’s dumb political hot takes
• Slapfights keep things interesting
• You get to learn about the pet causes users have, no matter how petty or dumb
• It’s just never ending content. Unlike with lolcows, content on Autistic Thunderdome never has a dry spell
• It’s the hotspot of The Gender Wars™
• You can feel like you’re reading 4Chan without having to go there (/ck/ is best board imo)
• Mass Debates is a dumping ground for the weirdest possible debates you can have
• Deep Thoughts has more introspective content, but very often goes into to weird territory as well
• Happenings is where you see people doom and act like instant experts on whatever is going on (it occasionally has useful information though. Shoutout to the initial Wuflu thread)

Other parts are fun, but Autistic Thunderdome never ceases to be entertaining in some way
