A smash player, Aziz "Hax$" Al-Yami, has completely gone off the deep end and wrote a 136 page serial manifesto about how another Smash player, Leffen, is an evil villain who seeks to take over the Melee community, other gaming communities, and eventually the world. In the document, Aziz makes several statements that are beyond delusion, obsession, and insanity, including a Hitler quote on the 5th page of the document being used as evidence, that Leffen wears Adidas brand clothing as a threat, that Leffen intends to create a real life Death Note using his Twitter page, and that Leffen controls the press and all the other players within the Melee scene, defends an ACTUAL PEDOPHILE, as well as several other gems buried within 136 pages of a PDF or two hours of video content. This all stemmed from a 10 year beef from a 20 year old game intended to be a children's party game. Highlights and context below.

Aziz Al-Yami, otherwise known by his gamertag "Hax$", is a competitive Super Smash Bros. Melee player from New York. He's 27 years old and plays Fox and has been a top player and community figurehead for upwards of 10 years. None of these facts are relevant to why he's worthy of being deemed a lolcow.

The reason that Aziz is a lolcow is predicated entirely on the 136 page PDF/2 and a half hour video that he wrote and released tonight, which is one of the most insane, delusional, and obsessive things I've ever read. It might actually rival Moviebob's Block by Block review of Super Mario Bros. 2. This is the greatest example of purely refined autism I've ever seen firsthand. The level of absolute craziness that Hax reaches here is beyond comparison.

Today, on June 4th, 2021, Aziz "Hax$" Al-Yami, just released a two and a half hour long video titled "evidence.zip2" highlighting his 136 page PDF about another player in the Super Smash Bros. community, William "Leffen" Hjelte. Melee has been out for about 20 years and the two players have known each other for exactly 10 years, a fact Aziz highlights in the video. In the video, Aziz goes completely off the deep end. Up until this point, Hax had been a well respected top player in Melee who actually made high quality videos regarding controller quality and the degeneracy of certain techniques done in competitive play. This video, dropped completely out of nowhere with no warning, promises to "decide the entire fate of the Melee community" (his words, not mine). Leffen used to be known as a toxic player but has also developed into a top player and community head in his own right. Leffen and Hax historically have beef but it was almost entirely relegated to the video game, other than an incident that occurred known as "evidence.zip", where a document by the name "evidence.zip" compiled by Hax, Armada (another top player) and several other community figureheads exposed Leffen as being extremely toxic (Leffen was 14 at the time) and pushing mentally ill members of the community towards suicide, as well as a variety of other behaviors. This document can be found here after the original file was removed.

The 136 page PDF document, titled "evidence.zip2", can be seen here. The other background you need to truly appreciate the document/video are that there was a documentary made on the Smash community by "Sam0x", another community figurehead, that detailed the competitive history of the game throughout the 2010s. Many fans felt that the documentary was unfair to Leffen and portrayed him as a comic book mustache twirling villain. In response, Sam0x stated that he'd release an updated version of the documentary with Leffen's perspective edited in as well.

After posting the video, Hax$ tweeted three times:
"This video decides the entire fate of the Smash community. (with a link to the video)"
"Every single person who values the well-being of the Smash community should take the time to review the video/PDF I just posted. The current generation needs to know the truth."
. @_samox_ , I need you to review the video/PDF I just released before you knowingly broadcast propaganda this weekend. The future of Smash is on the line. Thanks.

The rest of the PDF/context should be self explained and contained within the document, if I missed anything I'll be sure to edit the OP. Onto the document! The result of 10 years of concentrated autism is one of the funniest, most delusional, obsessive, and insane PDF I've ever read. This is on par with school shooter manifestos. While the entire PDF is unbelievably entertaining, I'm going to be highlighting just my favorite moments.

This is just my favorite moments. I highly, HIGHLY recommend you check out the PDF for yourself, as it features documents, illustrations, and schizophrenia level rambling about "Dark Triad" personality traits, the #MeToo movement, and crowd control.

Highlights of evidence.zip2 PDF document
The greater the crime perpetrated by the leadership, the less likely the people will ever believe their leaders capable of perpetrating such an event.” - Adolf Hitler. The most difficult part about this document will be accepting that the evil I’m referring to is being perpetrated by a community leader. There is a community leader who has caused this community to be filled with hatred, corruption, and greed, which are all things that the Smash community once didn’t have. These things have become so normalized that the current generation of players doesn’t even seem to realize what’s going on, and that things weren’t this way before. People are genuinely clueless that darkness has been cast over the entire Smash community, but hopefully this document will change that."

Yes, he quoted ADOLF HITLER on page 5 of a document about a children's party game.

Page 10: "If you look at the current state of the Smash community, it is in line with a totalitarian regime, and that is entirely because of Leffen. It’s obvious that Leffen wants full control over the community based on several of his tendencies. A dead giveaway of Leffen’s intentions is the fact that he blocks anyone who disobeys him on Twitter, to the point that he probably has thousands of people blocked. This strategy isn’t being used by some random person, either; it’s being used by the person with the highest follower count in the community. When you think about how dangerous this strategy can become over time, it
should actually be illegal, and I’ll explain why."

Comparing a video game community to a totalitarian regime. Don't worry, it gets MUCH worse from here.

Page 18: "When interviewed in 2015, Leffen made it clear that he was intent on becoming the one true God of
Melee, and that he wouldn’t be satisfied until every aspect of Godhood was torn to shreds. This made
for great entertainment at the time, and so people didn’t stop to consider the real meaning behind it."

A "god" of Melee just means being a really good player. Hax is comparing this to actually being a god, which is... interesting

Page 19-20: "The biggest red flag of all, however, is something that no one would ever have guessed. Many studies
have shown that one’s personality can accurately be inferred from their social media avatar. If you
think about the process that goes into choosing an avatar, this is obviously true. People will often use
avatars of anime characters that represent their inner beliefs, which is why I need to raise an issue with
something. Why did Leffen used to use an avatar of Light Yagami from Death Note back in 2016? If you understand who Light Yagami is, then it makes all too much sense when you consider everything else that I’ve told you. Light is a brilliant high school student on the outside, but an infamous political criminal on the inside whose goal is to become the God of the new world. He is able to remain undetected for many years by outwitting everyone in his way. Essentially, Death Note is the story of a totalitarian regime that ends up casting darkness over the entire planet. The story that’s unraveling right before our very eyes is strikingly similar to Death Note. The Death Note is a book that can be used to issue death sentences simply by writing someone’s name down. Should this tool fall into the wrong hands, it would terrorize an entire society. The funny thing is, Leffen is basically trying to turn his phone into the Death Note. Through the use of modern technology and a good understanding of crowd psychology, it is actually possible to create a
Death Note nowadays, and people need to be wary of that."

Aziz here is comparing Leffen using an anime character as his Twitter profile picture to him believing he's actually Light Yagami and comparing Leffen blocking people on Twitter to a real life Death Note. In addition to this, Hax claims that Leffen might intend to "create a Death Note"" in real life through the use of modern technology and a good understanding of crowd psychology. Because of his fucking TWITTER PROFILE PICTURE.

Page 26: "Lastly, I’ll show you an example of psychopathy. The fact that Leffen used to state that he is ‘really mean’ in his social media bio is an indicator of psychopathy in itself, but I want to give you a real-world example. When I beat Leffen at Genesis 7, I was wearing a red pair of Adidas pants with white stripes on them. These pants would become synonymous with my run at that tournament. A few months after Genesis 7, someone sent me a picture of Leffen wearing a red Adidas t-shirt with white stripes on its sleeves while editing a digital controller’s button layout. Again, this wasn’t a coincidence. It was a psychopath’s way of showing that he wants revenge."

Highlighting this because this is the funniest one in the entire PDF. This is, again, a real quote from a real video made about a real person that is meant to be taken seriously. Aziz says that an article of clothing he was wearing being worn by Leffen in a video a month later was proof that Leffen is a psychopath. Nothing I type here is funnier than the actual quote so just go read it again man fuck

Page 93: "In December 2017, Leffen posted a video of himself stabbing a pancake that had a green Jigglypuff drawn on it. This video tells you that Leffen desperately wanted to get rid of Hbox. It’s identical to when he bought a red Adidas shirt shortly after losing to me at Genesis. Stalking and smear campaigning represents the highest level of desperation on the psychopath’s end, and it’s exactly what Leffen did in both of these situations."

Hax says that Leffen stabbing a pancake that had a Pokemon character drawn on it is proof that he wanted to kill another player in the Smash scene.

On pages 103-106, Hax attempts to convince the reader that Leffen keeping the lights turned on on a road trip was proof that he was trying to break Hax mentally. Hax also states that Leffen moving his seat back in a car and hitting Hax was proof that he intended to violently harm Hax.

On pages 120-130 Hax defends a known pedophile within the Smash Bros. community because said pedophile was called a pedophile and attacked for being a pedophile by Leffen.

"To top it all off, Leffen controls the press. Had people known the truth about Evidence.zip, then Smash surely wouldn’t have reached this point, which is why Leffen has played a direct role in influencing the press at all times. He presumably had final say over the TSM and Red Bull documentaries that have been made about him. Similarly, the fake apology he issued on March 21st 2013 would end up making it to theScore esports’ 2018 documentary. None of these documentaries told the true story."

On page 135, Hax states that Leffen controls "the press", as well as stating that Leffen controls the minds of other top players through blackmail from behind the scenes and that Leffen controls the crowd/fans of Melee as well. Hax several times throughout the documents mentions that Leffen having his face used in YouTube thumbnails and videos means that he intends to control the community by showing them that he's "always watching".

"Make no mistake: you are witnessing a modern-day totalitarian regime. Between the ‘hits’ being placed on top players in order to consolidate power, the multiple layers of crowd psychology being used to dehumanize and hoard the masses, and the complete control over the press, the Smash community has fallen into the pits of darkness. However, it isn’t too late. Now that the Smash
community knows the truth, it’s time to take back the free world."

Insanity.

For anyone wanting to watch the YouTube video, which features an audio narration of the PDF from Hax$ himself, you can find it here.

Here is the end card of the YouTube video, which sums up all of Hax's points throughout the video.

Leffen's response: "at this point i don't even know what to do. Legit concerned with my safety at events with this level of things. Will be looking into a lawyer before saying more just to make sure my bases are covered.

In conclusion, this all stemmed from a 10 year beef from a 20 year old game intended to be a children's party game.

Jesus fucking christ, the absolute autism of this kid. This is like when that guy wrote the 100+ page "rebuttal" to the Mr. Plinkett Phantom Menace review. I don't even think Technicals would be able to make heads or tails of this drivel.

My knowledge of the Melee community comes entirely from like 2015 when I still followed the scene and was a young teenager, but Hax isn't wrong that Leffen is a dick. He's 100% wrong about literally everything else and might genuinely need psychiatric help
Leffen is known for being toxic as all get out, but that's just his character. Complaining that Leffen is toxic is like complaining that Keemstar is a dick, everybody already knows. You can basically respond to this entire doc by just saying "it's Leffen lol".

For the love of god archive everything this needs to be preserved.
I have it archived but I'll split it up and archive it here. Sec.

The section of the video where it's just white text describing the shit young Leffen got up to does sound pretty bad, but considering that this weirdo was a contributor, I'm gonna say maybe these statements were made by a bunch of hypersensitive faggots reading too much into someone trolling them.

Some tweets in response to this:
Leffen gives his take:

I just can't bring myself to hate Leffen. The way he manages to be the most insufferable faggot in EVERY situation he's involved in is just too perfect :story: .

In the doc Hax compares Light Yagami writing names of victims in the death note to Leffen blocking people on twitter from his phone
That's at least a step back from what it could be. Seeing statements like that I was thinking he had some kinda schizophrenic break if he believed the dude was killing, or trying to kill, people with his twitter and there were all kinds of grand conspiracies. What you said is just sounds like autism turned up to 11.
