Retrospect is 20/20 obviously, and I have no way to prove this, but I said to myself when they took Kirby out that he was dealing so well they should have left him in and just walked Carpenter. Of course that could have been even worse so whatever. I don't get payed to think about this stuff. All in all, I still think the Mariners will win this game. Tigers offense has been atrocious outside of Carpenter and Mariners have really made Skubal work for his strikeouts. Tigers Pen is kind of meh.
