So it's either going to be a first time World Series appearance for Seattle or the first appearance in over 30 years for Toronto. Both were 1977 expansion teams.
Yeah and it's sad they are in the same league, imagine what if the Blue Jays was in the NL and the Mariners in the AL? What might have been...

I need to see a Brewers/Mariners World Series. Two teams with over a hundred years of history, and only one pennant and no championships between them. One of them gets to celebrate for the first time.
Also, they're both Seattle teams. The world's longest Subway Series?

Let's hope Brewers-Cubs game 5 is as good as Mariners-Tigers.
update: turned out to be a decent game. No real drama at the end but that's okay

I hope the brewers lose so the jays have home field advantage
If the jays beat the mariners, that is

ALDS prediction:
Mariners > Tigers - This is more of a vibe pick, the Mariners are due for big series win and they'll get that here.
Blue Jays > Yankees - Going with my gut and picking the Blue Jays. Their big names will come through.

NLDS prediction:
Brewers > Cubs. Cubs surprisingly have the head-to-head advantage during the regular season. Brewers aren't a big home run hitting team but they find creative ways to score and they're more consistent.
Phillies > Dodgers. As much as I hate picking against my Dodgers, I simply don't trust the bullpen to hold on to any lead that isn't massive. Phillies pitching is excellent and the Dodgers offense is streaky. I just don't feel good about this matchup.
Got both ALDS series correct.
ALCS prediction:
Mariners > Blue Jays. In a battle of the teams due for something good, someone has to lose. Going with the Mariners.

1/2 NLDS correct. Picking against my Dodgers was dumb, I was really down on the bullpen and overestimated the Phillies offense. Sticking with them to go all the way now.
NLCS prediction:
Dodgers > Brewers. Dodgers offense was bad during the NLDS but still managed to win. Not sure they can get away with that against the Brewers. I think the Dodgers bats get going and their starting pitching continues to do well. Brewers are a tough out, though, this will be really competitive.

I had a feeling it would end like this. At least the Cubs took it to Game 5. Now maybe the Dodgers will crush the Brewers. I'll be rooting for Seattle or Toronto in the World Series anyway.

I think the best possible outcome for the World Series is Seattle/Toronto vs. Milwaukee. But the Doyers will probably repeat.

Well that was unexpected. I never in a million years would have expected fucking Bryce Miller to hold the Blue Jays to only 2 hits. Maybe the Yankees are just awful. Now they have to deal with Gilbert and Kirby? Yikes. Canada might as well put tariffs on runs this series cause it feels like most of them are going to be produced by American "Companies".

That was an impressive showing from Seattle.
It took them less pitches to retire the Jays than a usual Tarik Skubal 7-inning start with arguably the weakest starter they have currently in rotation, and this was after a 15-inning marathon two days ago. The leafs are fucked

Wisconsin and Toronto do not deserve a world series. One is Canadian and the other is where Patrick Tomlinson is from.

Much as I hope the Jays go all the way, I’d be perfectly happy with the Mariners finally managing to not punch their fans in the dick.

Just need the Dodgers to completely self destruct on the field is all. Then I’ll be happy whoever wins, even if there’s probably going to be a strike in the near future…

This game is going to be a mess. Gilbert looks like shit and Yesavage aint that good against not the Yankees, it must have been the extra innings.
