I hate those fkn city jerseys so much. Like no young people are gonna buy that shit. And baseball diehards would rather see that shit in a bonfire. Just the mlb trying to be like the NBA (aka the nations 6th fav sport)

If you're gonna have garish drip, then go big or go home.

The only good uniforms the Padres have ever had IMO are their camo ones. Brown is ugly and navy blue is too generic.

They should also paint their bats like crayons to show extra love to our boys and girls at Camp Pendleton.
 
While this is mostly political sperging, it is related to Baseball and I thought it was interesting.

My Texas Rangers are causing a hubbub about installing a new statue in their stadium that was recently removed from a local airport. The statue is supposed to be a tribute to the Texas Rangers police force, specifically, Bill McDonald, a Texas Ranger who broke up an illegal boxing match. However, the actual statue is not modeled after Bill, but rather a former Texas Ranger captain Jay Banks. It was removed in 2020 during the summer of love because Jay Banks was extremely racist, as most white cops in the 50s and 60s were, and has since been put in the Texas Rangers stadium because Ray Davis does not give a fuck.

Personally, I don't really like it as I don't think we should have non-baseball related stuff in my baseball stadium, but it has obviously caused some pearl clutching by a certain website of people that you may find humorous if you are of a certain affiliation.

USA is pretty much an All-Star team, while the Rockies are recruiting from men's leagues.

National teams that aren't from Japan or the Western Hemisphere make the pool play of the WBC into glorified Pros vs. Joes.

Though that's not always a bad thing. It can be interesting. Last time, a Czech electrician who only threw about 80-85 mph struck out Ohtani.
