How about we take this seriously and get someone that has actually managed a team before. Either way I don’t believe he will be back next time.
 
I don't get how the US team doesn't have a real manager. I'm sure there are plenty of managers who would be happy to do it. Doesn't even need to be a big leaguer. Even someone from the minor leagues would suffice. At least get a guy who will read the fucking rules and understand what's at stake for every game they're going into.

Apparently the people in charge for USA baseball think this is just a media event and not a tournament. They wanted a TV proven guy that's good in interviews and clips, not someone that can bring a team to victory. I remember a week or two ago seeing him in an interview basically saying "these guys are all so good there's not much for me to do, I just told them to get hyped" He didn't even seem to convince them, but that's what the captain would be for if we didn't have an Under Armor mannequin as our captain. The energy has been lacking, these guy look like they're being forced to be there most of the time. Especially compared to nearly every other team that isn't actively getting their shit rocked in the 8th.

USA beats Canada 5-3
Things got a little too close for comfort, but the US got out of a runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs jam in the 7th. From there Canada did nothing.
USA now faces Dominican Republic on the 15th, that's not going to be an easy one.

Man, the U.S. team other than PCA, Turang, and Witt just looks so lifeless. Harper and Ralegh need to wake the fuck up. Judge has been good but he just looks so stiff. At least the starters have been nails.

Well, no matter what happens, we know the Dominicans will just spam emotes all game long.
 
Venezuela putting up more of a fight in baseball than they are defending their leader from getting kidnapped
