USA vs Venezuela would be hilarious no matter who wins, USA vs Italy is basically just USA vs USA-B which would only be funny if Italy won. What a game wow, my heart is still beating out of my chest.

Look, I get it's spring training for the umps too, but Jesus. The ball/strike calls have been garbage in every WBC game I've watched, and it sucks to win that way. Thank God we're getting the challenge system for the regular season.
I've really grown to enjoy team Dago-Wop, and them going all the way would actually be pretty great. Washouts from Team USA, playing for a country that they're barely connected to (and that doesn't even know Baseball exists), beating the rest of the baseball world. Perfect.
They also seem like they're the only team I've watched that's actually having fun. It's hard not to enjoy their little espresso shot, shitty Armani jacket, or the other goofy dugout traditions pulled directly from 1990's greaseball TV stereotypes.

I am dumbfounded that DeRosa continues to put Bryce Harper in the 2 spot. You don't have to remove him but why not just move his ass down. He probably isn't going to find his swing in the last game of tournament.
