Hey I object to this. Star Wars is wildly overrated, and if I was not a Gen Xer I'd probably would never have liked it. While the sith creed is a silly caricature, it does make a point in how "negative" emotions can be used to be constructive. This clown is no Anakin or Luke, and surely is no prospective rival to Darth Vader.

On the contrary, I did no such thing. I simply wished them good luck on their endeavor.

One might interpret that as considerably less compassionate than telling them the error of their ways, but since March 2020 I just plain don't care about people I don't personally know or like. Quite frankly I hate assholes, dumbasses and scumbags of every flavor and enjoy seeing them suffer and if their offense is egregious enough, die.

An unfortunate symptom of long COVID I'm afraid.
