This is a channel I've started to get into again. Chubbyemu is a doctor who makes Youtube videos explaining bizarre medical emergencies that nobody can seem to find out what causes them, and some of them you wouldn't think cause issue with people. Some medical emergencies seem obvious, but it's interesting to watch anyway. Take a look at his channel.

Found this channel a while ago. His videos sound a little clickbaity, but they actually contain the shocking facts announced. I like that he found an accessible and trendy way to explain medical issues to a general public. Otherwise, if you have any previous medical knowledge or work in even a tangentially related sphere, you might find thorough explanations of the terms and conditions boring. Watching too many videos in a row is a certain way to fuel your hypochondria, however, it's hard to stop watching.

I remember when I first saw his Medical Mondays videos in my suggested videos. I avoided it initially because of thhe clickbaity titles. I don't regret watching the video and I've been subscribed for a while now.

Guy has a respectable career.

Too bad he has to be so thirsty for views he uses video titles that hardly link cause and effect.

To be fair, the titles aren't wrong. The only way to win at YouTube is to get the views, I can't begrudge him on the clickbaity titles as long as it isn't false advertising.

It's about time that there's a thread on this guy's channel! Would be fun to discuss them that doesn't involve scouring through cookie-cutter meme comments.

I found this guy while going through Fredrik Knudsen's subscription list and got drawn in by the weird titles. I'm glad I checked out his channel now. XD

The latest video about the gas station nachos, I knew there would be trouble but losing control of your limbs?! I see where the sayings come from and that's just scary.

Also, a quick Google of Man paralysed by Nachos finds news articles related to the incident so you know for sure it has happened cos some of them are outlandish like the woman who fell ill after eating cookies as she was starving.

It may seem outlandish but refeeding syndrome is really a thing. Starvation forces to body to undergo metabolic changes so as to not die quickly. Eating a bunch of food quickly immediately puts a strain on the body because it has adapted to starvation. As for nacho guy, I suspected botulism the moment paralysis was mentioned.

I didn't realize there was a thread about this dude. I like some of his stuff, but like what's already been mentioned here: a lot of the titles are really clickbaity. Some of them seem dubious and exaggerated, but I guess it's necessary to generate clicks.

I thought it was pretty funny that he got Justin Whang in a video:

Necro yet again for a question of guess the race
The autistic child has both white and black traits, but I'm leaning towards rights. It's a good karmic punishment for the parents with how that kid will now never leave the house.
