Depends on what you're in the mood for.
Sweet and spicy - Apricot/jalapeño jam. Good luck finding it anywhere that isn't homemade though.
Savory and salty - Herb and garlic cream cheese with thinly sliced gypsy sausage on top. Brush your teeth or eat breath mints if you're going to be around people afterward.
 
Brunch: Cream cheese, lox, red onions, capers.

Afternoon: half a pound of smoked meat from Schwartz's deli.


But the deeper questions is, do you buy them from St-Viateur or Fairmount Bagel?
