I'm starting to seeing parallels to the Wendigoon thread here.
Both Bunj and Wendi were liked but now they're starting to get shit on (for good reason)
Their once fan threads are slowly becoming hate threads.
Nothing good ever lasts :(

Maybe we are just vultures. It seems to me that he is taking content creation as an actual business now and is working on many videos at once. Maybe he just needs time to adapt.

I kinda like he focuses more on the commentary shit, as the weird godfather shit is the worst part of the Tom stuff

I wouldn't mind seeing a Bunjeeeeee video on Hamplanet either, but what would he really add that's new? This video on TurkeyTom actually had him go against the grain and call out the aggressive sweeping the other commentary channels have been doing. Mocking DeOrio's histrionic spergout at being called a sweeper was especially good.

It’s not like he was going against the grain with his mamamax or boogie. He doesn’t always have to be a contrarian. His videos are basically covering people’s actions and ripping them apart with a verbal ass wupping. His content isn’t about disclosing new shit it’s just him being the funniest guy in town

I wasn't implying that he needs to always be a contrarian, but that we've already got a ton of people making the exact type of jokes and the exact type of commentary Bunjeeeeee would about Hambley.

I guess that’s fair but he’s gonna have to cover it regardless. Plus bunjee is funny irrespective of other commentary creators so I guarantee his jokes will still land

It doesn't matter that "everybody else" is covering it. I want to see Quartering get shit on Bunjee style.
He's not boring because he's not covering the popular thing. He's gotten boring because he's not putting in the same effort he used to.

EDIT:
That's not to say he isn't entertaining, he is, but no one can deny that his older work was better.
 
The new video was really meh. Segment when he actually talks about Turkey Tom was great, too bad that the remaining 2/3rd of the video is the old "DeOrio is fat and retarded and bootlicks others in CC" (but I admit that I'm biased because I have barely any idea who this fat fuck is.) Its not what I or many others expected, and I think thats what the problem is.
I loved Bunje's videos on Pokimane and Chibi, I hope that the reason why this one is subpar is that he had to redo it entirely and not because he's losing his edge.

I agree with this. But I also think Bunjee still has the chops to produce good drama videos.

the Turkey Tom video is a massive outlier. I think people should stop sperging over that video as "penultimate evidence" that "Bunjee has lost his chops". it's not even mid, it's still decent to good - and that's by the standards set by his old videos. I urge you all to remember that Bunjee is an outlier against every other commentary or movie review or drama recap channel. compared to actual commentary slop, Bunjee clears by a million miles.

it's not even fair to call him "zoomer Brit Metokur" because he brings a different energy and persona to his videos. Prime Metokur made terrific videos and great streams. Bunjee could never compete against that and we need to let Bunjee's work stand on its own merits instead of dogging on him over every lil thing.


Anyway does anyone know who is doing these reposts? Commentary Hasan, are you a thread regular?
