Why did SJWs -- like on "Bluesky" -- take the side of Palestine (and maybe Hamas) anyway?
Every social media I go, I see those "Fwee the poww pitifoow Palesteeenianzzzz" people. I'm sure it started out with some genuine empathy, but of course, since social media is full of narcissists, I'm sure they don't care about the whole issue and are just milking it because it gets them traction like "OW EM GEE U R SOOOO EMPATHETIC, PWOGWESSIVE, AND KINDDDDD!"
Of course left thinks over half the country is stupid, and that they're so enlightened. Hasn't changed since Bush Jr. was re-elected.
Because they're full of people who are "different" in a way and therefore believe they're chosen like a Messiah. For people who trash Christianity and religions a lot, they sure act like they're Jesus, who, mind you, was actually a figure who was so hated in his time. Hell, they don't even behave like Jesus! Jesus is tolerant, understanding, and kind to those with different views. "Don't be forceful and mean" was his main point. The tale with the rich man shows what these messiah complex morons should do: if someone doesn't agree with you and they're probably destroying himself and is too far gone, let him go. If someone is being a racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, close-minded bigot, let him be an idiot because it's on him. Insisting every single human being should join your cause and labelling them all sorts of nonsense will just turn people off more from your beliefs.
I believe media that has a main character who is a weird, quirky, annoying, clumsy, underachieving, outcast character that ends up being hailed as a hero then suddenly being treated right by society in the end has played a part in this mindset. They believe they have been cast out unjustly when their stupid stunts are the reason why people don't want to be even a millimeter away from them. Then, they rebel and complain about problems they create to look like heroes solving all that is bad and ugly in society.
