Should there be a poll on how long it will take for a majority of Bluesky users to return to Twitter X?
I'd say it willl happen within the next year. Microblogging lends itself to tons of people interacting with posts and most users, when they realize they can't get the same dopamine hit as they do in the cesspool that is X, they end up fleeing. The current userbase is currently getting high off their own farts in their new toy of a site, but that will most likely wear off pretty quickly, as it did with Mastodon and Threads.

But maybe Bluesky will have more staying power, since it's gotten such a large influx of users. Will probably never be more than a fraction as big as X, but may be enough to make it a containment zone for nutties, like Tumblr was.

It's corporations and celebrities trying to push the narrative Bluesky is successful when Threads is already beating Bluesky organically. Threads already has five times the new users than Bluesky.
