Israeli security forces removed a bomb on Monday from Joseph's Tomb in Nablus in the West Bank, according to the IDF Spokesperson's Unit.

The bomb, found in a cell phone during a security scan to secure the tomb for about 1,000 worshipers, was removed from the tomb and detonated by security forces. Protestors threw stones at security forces upon their entry to and departure from the site, damaging their bus but resulting in no casualties.

Nablus, built on the site of the ancient Biblical city of Shehem, is located in Area A of the West Bank, which is exclusively administered by the Palestinian Authority.

The Jewish holy site has been targeted by Palestinians in the past. In October of 2015, hundreds of rioters set the tomb ablaze before being dispersed by Palestinian Authority police. The religious site suffered severe damage, but again, no one was wounded.

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas condemned the arson, stressing "his rejection of these actions and all actions that violate law and order, and which distort our culture, our morals and our religion.”

In addition to finding the explosive, IDF forces seized two weapons during an operation in the village of Silwad, near Ramallah. Shin Bet and Israel Police arrested 11 suspected of terrorist activity overnight as well.

What better way to show you'll live in peace with Jews than by burning their holy sites!

The site is holy to ALL those fucking religions, including Christianity. Not that these pigfuckers care.

Is this amazing technicolor dream coat Joseph or God's personal cuckold Joseph?

Dreamcoat Joseph. The one also in the fucking Koran.

Destroying history is sad. Muds would be having a complete victim complex if Jews attacked a mosque, rioting in the streets like fucking useless subhumans. Even sadder to me are the ISIS and other Islamic thugs who destroy ancient sites of past civilizations that aren't here to defend themselves now but are still part of the people's heritage. They should be proud to have a beautiful polytheistic past but instead they try to destroy all trace of it. Their ancestors will reject them when they die. Destroying the idols will not destroy the Gods, give Mecca back to daughters of Al-Lah!

lol they tried to blow up their own prophet's tomb.
Not Muhammad (PBUH), the most perfect human being to ever exist or who ever could exist, doesn't matter. Remember, this is the same ideology in Islam that thinks that all progress should have ended the second Muhammad croaked.

Kebabs don’t care much for holy sites. The Saudis have been wanting to get rid of Muhammad’s tomb for ages.

To be fair, wanting to destroy historical monuments- even monuments that have to do with Islam- isn't really a mainstream thing in Islam nowadays. It's mostly associated with Wahhabists and Salafis, who are so terrified of shirk (idolatry) that they'll destroy their own cultural/religious heritage out of fear that it will lead to sinfulness. This is just a small sampling of the heritage sites that Saudi Arabia, the birthplace of Islam, has destroyed:
  • The Mosque of Fatima Zahra (Muhammad's daughter)
  • The grave of Amina bint Wahb (Muhammad’s mother)
  • Muhammed's house in Medina, where he lived after the migration from Mecca
  • The house of Khadija, Muhammad’s first wife. Muslims believe he received some of the first revelations there. It was also where his children Fatimah and Qasim were born
  • Dar e Arqam, the first Islamic school where Muhammad taught
  • The house of Mawlid, where Muhammad is believed to have been born in 570
  • Countless other buildings that had historical value
The really sad thing is that Muslims get way more worked up over Muhammad cartoons than they do about their religious history being destroyed to make way for hotels and shopping malls. It's like if the Vatican started to destroy holy relics and early Christian artifacts and nobody gave a shit.

Islam as conceived by the Saudis is the most heartless, soulless belief system ever. I mean, what would their ideal world even look like? Everyone lives like an Arab in the 11th century and spends all of their time not spent eating, drinking, and sleeping endlessly praying and hating everyone else for virtually-imperceptible differences?

I didn't know they destroyed so much of their own history. Maybe that's part of why they don't give a fuck about anyone else's. They don't see the value in monuments and relics plus they live in mortal fear of idolatry.

You don't see the Pope tearing down St. Peter's Basilica to make way for a super Walmart and a three story parking garage.
