Boomer Hate Thread

All these dinosaurs do is watch TV. Like, they know it’s all politically-biased, and owned by megacorps who lie 99% of the time. But they still mainline TV news like it's heroin.

I think at this point the main thing holding up broadcast television is boomers.
Don't even get me started on their Facebook pages. The same shit.

Are they lying or are they delusional?
It’s a mix of both. Many boomers truly believe that everything they’ve done has been a result of hard work. So they get butthurt when they get asked to contribute to the next generations but they don’t want their gibs and privileges removed. The United States embraced massive deficits when the last of the boomers became adults: they wanted all the luxuries that came with a pretty decent social safety net but they refused to pay into it. Hence the $30 trillion in debt we have today and how the basic tools for social mobility are increasingly out of the hands of future generations.

Every generation has their own set of bullshit but boomers have been an inflection point that leads us to the “weak men create hard times” cycle of society. Pretty hard to reverse it at this point either. Most boomers are going to die off in 20 years but society isn’t going to get better with them gone. These next few decades are going to get rougher and there’s enough in motion where it’s going to be tough for anyone to stop it.

I was indifferent about boomers until the "scamdemic." After forcing to get a job in retail due to things closing down that forced my hand. People are dumb but holy hell, boomers are worse in almost all aspects. They are literally overgrown children and throw fucking tantrums if something isn't "what it's supposed to be" when an item rings up 1.29 and not a dollar, and cannot perform simple tasks as swiping a credit card, which they respond by punching the equipment. Their spending habits is shit but that doesn't matter because they have SSI and pensions, which current and later generations will never see that shit because they made it all about them and nothing to really pass on.

The thing that perplexes me the most is when it come to technology, where you show them a task that a child can understand easily but they want to fight tooth and nail over it. Fuck, I've had them just want to bitch shit on computers which honestly feels like they want to be difficult on purpose. The icing on the cake is when you encounter boomers who seem to take pride on being stubborn about technology, no matter how much they inconvenient everyone around them. My disdain slowly grows with the same problems everyone has repeated in this thread where they watch cable news, taking it as the gospel, and US congress being full of 70 to 80 year olds where their IQ matches their age.

If you ever wondered if it was nature or nurture that lead to a lot of boomerism odds are it was neither. They may very well be lead poisoned into being a little retarded. So all the little quirks and acting out might be symptoms instead of "TRUE AND HONEST" personality facets.

Turns out it's NOT normal to be unable to learn new things at all in your sixties, and unable to figure out cause and effect from 30 onwards.

Big if true. But what i've found out is most boomers are not that much unable as they're unwilling to learn and figure things out. Not sure if it's the way they're raised or because of other societal factors, or maybe they've just lost the spark. But a lot of them think they've learned enough and did enough thinking by the age of 40 and there's nothing new or nothing's worth their time and effort anymore.

I have an 80yo aunt who decided to buy a laptop 7 years ago and after setting it up i showed her a few basic things, from then on she was on her own, almost never asking me about shit and just figuring things on her own. Few months ago when i visited i was amazed to discover she found out how to connect her phone to the computer and transfer files and use viber on it. Which is something my zoomer sister struggles with.

However my 70 yo grandma has had a smartphone for over 10 years now and experiences fatigue and high blood pressure every time she has to send a birthday wish to somebody.

This might partially explain the near 1 million covid deaths in the United States. Guess what age group wouldn't wear their mask in public places? uh huh.

Boomers were based when it came to masks.

USA has a population of 330,756,000. With 79,949,733 cases of covid and 976,702 deaths of covid this results in 1.2% mortality rate which aligns perfectly with the 1.2 worldwide mortality rate of the virus.
Muttland has super high-density cities full of feral niggers and all kinds of mystery meat shitskins who are not to be governed my anything.

This explains the near 1 million deaths, not the boomers who didnt wanna wear the ineffective masks. Kudos to you though for attempting to have an original thought. Maybe tomorrow you'll do better.

Another gem (when asked about the gap between rich and poor)

It cracks me up that they still think there's ''welfare''.

Boomers I knew were all face-diapered. And they were the ones who would tantrum out on you if you didn't. Also they got all the clot shots and boosties. Meanwhile my 95 yr old perfect health gma never once masked and wont get the shot. (She hasn't gotten any jab in over 60 years and wasnt about to start)

But lol it kind of blows my mind that tards still act like a filthy face fomite was the difference between covid spread and not. Hey stupid, if masks worked, they would have worked. But they dont which is why they didnt.

At that age you're going to die of something really soon anyway and most of the things you do die of are a lot more unpleasant than pneumonia.

I always see boomers go on about how much better their childhood was. “Back in the day we played outside ever day, ate nutritious food without chemicals, didn’t have tv and cell phones to poison our minds, we had clean air, no participation trophies!”

Yet if these things were the ingredients to a wonderful child hood why didn’t these boomers give their kids those luxuries? I bet most of the boomers who wax nostalgia on their child hoods were the ones who ended up being helicopter parents , fed their kids fast food, handed out participation trophies, and used the tv as a baby sitter. Also it’s real rich seeing them go on about technology being evil while being permanently glued to their phones like everyone else.

Not to mention I’ve seen a huge amount of them who genuinely believe vaccines cause Autism and think measles is no big deal because everyone got it back then and they all turned out fine.

Well, so long as you don't count the people who died, got permanently retarded from viral encephalitis, got permanent lung damage from pneumonia, went blind, etc. etc. etc. Everyone else turned out dandy.

TLDR: It’s the fault of the hippies.

I don’t think it’s all boomers. I have known plenty that are fine. The ones I dislike the most tend to be the ones that have political power and went with the flow. Ie they have no morales. Specifically the ones that were hippies, not all of them were, then later on flipped when they realized they could party harder as a businessman or politician. Then once they were safe from the draft became the biggest war mongerers possible. They became what they believed their parents were. Cruel, selfish, war mongerers. It is this same class of people that gutted our small towns to save a buck and sold out America to China. It’s the same class that pushed participation trophies then flipped out about them. It’s the same group that decried the system then made it 100x less compassionate, less fair, and without blinking an eye.

The ones that fought in Vietnam have my pity but not my contempt. Imo part of the reason they suck as a generation is that a lot of the good ones were killed or wounded, and more importantly were cast aside for “murdering babies.”

That could be a factor for sure.

Boomers are literal NPC prototypes. They spend 75% of the day watching TV and eating up whatever bullshit they see on their preferred news channel and are some of the most deranged people out there, and their world views are straight out of the Cold War when it comes to foreign countries and what the government should do to them.

I love making boomer heads explode when I explain to them that being a godless commie IS my ethnic heritage and family tradition that I'm reconnecting with and honouring and staying true to. In the workingmen's club in my grandfather's mining town they even have a big old banner hung up reading 'For Peace and Socialism'. The region my family and ancestors came from is the birthplace of socialism. We have many explicitly left-wing folk songs.
