I love my boomer Grandma, but one time I said that I don't think we need to import all this foreign labor to replace the shrinking population and she exclaimed "What do you want us to do, all die!?" They can't see anything past themselves

My rents often speak of selling their house and buying a house boat to live in on the lake till they die. It's very hard to not sound selfish when I try to tell them that selling their house to buy a depreciating asset that will be useless at best, a headache at worst, to I and my Sister after you die is not only stupid but selfish.

a depreciating asset that will be useless at best, a headache at worst,
I feel the same way about all that cash my Dad has. If he would've invested it wisely he'd be a millionaire by now. Not that he'd act any different. He'd maybe be even more of an a-hole. But maybe he'd be able to afford to stay in one of those fancy retirement communities rather than freeloading off my sister and I for possibly an entire decade or more. He won't even write up a will. We've tried to convince him to see an estate planner so his accounts don't go into probate and my sister and I have a fight on our hands. With the state and possibly each other. But he refuses to acknowledge that he won't be here someday and it's going to be a big old mess. Or maybe he wants there to be a bunch of drama at the end? Boomers are so weird!

I keep trying to get my Mom to see an estate planner but she won't. Just keeps saying, "I don't have anything to plan." She refuses to understand that even if we're not wealthy she still needs to figure out asset division and easing her bills ect off of us after she passes.

Depending on the state (assuming if youre US) it should go to next of kin automatically so long as you claim it.

This is pretty much how Thomas Massie lost his seat, more or less, if that age group voting chart is correct. All because Trump and his dick-riders said so. It's honestly terrifiying how an entire generation can be so easily manipulated.
Massie lost his seat because he was a preening, grandstanding fuckwit who couldn’t be relied on for shit.

I'm not actually sure what, if anything, women about my age do.

If they have kids and single, typically some sport or school event/working then bed rotting.

If no kids and single, typically work and bed rotting. Maybe an ok restaurant with friends from their last school.

Boomers are shitting themselves. Their parents lived in a time of normalized and socially acceptable pedophilia. Now that theyre in their late 60s to eary 80s they wish they could prey on high schoolers. They wish it was like the 60s and 70s and where their parents would throw them and gen x to rockers and wealthy business men at a whim. But those pesky gen xers and millennials thought it was weird when men in college where banging 13 and 14 year olds and put a cultural stop to it. They even went further and made it weird for men in their late 20s and 30s to fuck high schoolers at all. Whats a poor pedophilic boomer to do!

Honestly a horrible generation that refused to grow up.
My boomer dad recently got fired from his job because he kept hitting on girls my age (30s) and younger.

I often act as "the bodyguard" for female friends' girl's night outs and every single demographic understands that a group of girls that includes one guy with a look of boredom and resignation on his face usually means they aren't interested and leave them alone. Every demographic except fucking boomers. These disgusting fucks will straight up try get me to pimp my friends to them (as if they would be interested) and the minute they catch a klap they go off crying to management about how terrible the youth is today. Fucking perverts are the one of the reasons people under 30 don't go to bars anymore.
The fact people in their generation at their age are still out partying and trying to pick up girls young enough to be their granddaughters tells you everything you need to know about Boomers. They never had to grow up and the party never ended.
This reminds of the one time my wife and I had a real vacation and rather than fly we wanted to travel 1st class on Amtrak. What a fucking joke btw what they consider 1st class travel. Those train cars look every year their age. There was duct tape holding a piece of my seat together. Anyway, so we're in the 1st class dining car and they had classical music playing. This clearly drunken Boomer woman comes stumbling into the dining car and as loudly as possible states, "What's with this old people music? Put on some Zeppelin and get me my damn drink I wanna party!!!" This woman had to be in her early 70s at least. She complained loudly and frequently enough they relented and turned off the music. She then played Boomer slop via her cellphone and would sing along to most of the songs. Just the pure absurdity of it was enough to stay with me. She's just sitting there getting more and more drunk and flirting with men at least two decades younger than her. She ordered some kind of steak and sent it back three times. She went into this rant about Trump and every other word out of her mouth was motherfucker. We were stuck with this woman the whole trip. The Boomer never had to grow up. Look back on any interaction you have had and its dealing with a very old adult child who was never told no once in their life.

It's so common now and boomers love doing it to make their family upset. The refusal to plan estates, make wills, DNRs, etc. and power of attorney and figure out who is in charge of boomers when they become full vegetables. It literally takes 20 minutes of sitting with a lawyer. Can't be bothered.

I like to say have fun getting all your ribs broken and that being your last moment of life on earth when the mongoloids come in to do CPR. Sounds fun. Boomers can't see it happening because they think they'll live forever.

Nothing makes a boomer recoil in horror more than the thought of having to sell his toys at gasp fair market value. I swear some of these geezers are spiritually Indian with how they try to hock their junk at a 100% markup.

“No boomer Bob, I’m not paying full market price for your sporterized Kar98k with mismatched serial numbers.”
As probably the only under 30 brass era car fan in existence I cannot wait until the boomers croak and prices come down a bit although there already are plenty of good deals. I don't think theres anyone under 65 in the HCCA.

I love my dad and I’m hyper aware that he came from a really humble background and still works a really laborious job but his willingness to understand the gap in the “back in my day” and the right now drives me insane.

On my minimum wage I make maybe twice the amount it was in the 70s/80s yet I can’t afford rent for the shittiest one bedroom apartments in town. Yet I’m constantly reminded that when he was my age he was moving up from an apartment to a house. That’s not my personal failing. Like… buddy do you mean the house your parents gifted to you and mom on their wedding, your childhood home? That house?

After retirement the two of them plan the native Californian boomer exit scheme, selling the house and transplanting to Arizona. Like all the other people who’ve done that and who actively will do that from now till then wont drive up the market value. And I keep being told “when we leave you’re on your own, you better start planning where you’re living now,” what’s the point in planning? Everything is getting more and more expensive, I will never own any living space my own and the only hope is splitting rent with 2-3 other people on a shit apartment.

You'd think the death of their spouse might get them to sit up straight and pay attention, but given the divorce rate of boomers, maybe not. Not really "thankfully", but due to unexpected deaths on both sides of the family, all of my own remaining grandparents (all boomers) have not only their will/estates settled but also funeral & deposition sorted too.
'Cause if nothing is put in writing about the matter, I see a lot of unattended cremations and hastily dumped ashes in many a future.

Having seen my own family go through legal bullshit due to the negligence of their parents I can't really imagine wanting any of that for them. It was stressful and massively time consuming without getting into the legal issues with the state. They will snatch up any penny they can manage.

One time at one of my old work places, I was going out for a smoke break and found our receptionist hiding at the top of the stairs (the reception is on the bottom floor) in order to avoid some creepy old fuck who she couldn't tell to piss off because he was mates with the senior partner. I hate these people so fucking much.

Of course they can't be bothered, doing any of these things require accepting two facts: they will die some day and the world will continue on without them.

Boomers can never accept these facts.

People think I'm joking but Boomers really did believe on some level they were going to live forever. As far back as the 1970s they believed medical science was going to grant them eternal youth and lifespans expanded past 150. They are so bitter and angry they had to grow old and that the gaping maw of Hell awaits. Why do you think they hate and resent anyone under 65 so much?

Can't hate them enough.

YMMV, but I don't normally see women under 30 at my co-ed running socials. I'm not actually sure what, if anything, women about my age do. I'm not so convinced there will be much of a generation with zoomer moms if they're just bed rotting. Zoomer guys still show up. They look and behave fairly normally.
Zoomer women are just ultra group-isolating. Women fucking suck at being alone. Unless she's literally minutes away from popping her top or otherwise mentally ill, she's doing all sorts of bullshit with her friends.

There's definitely a lot of wasting time but if they don't want to talk they'll just pretend to not have any hobbies. And it's gay and retarded but that's literally how women work. She could be a grandmaster seamstress and if she doesn't want to talk she's never heard about it.

If you asked a dude he'd 100% go "Yeah I was knit-maxxing. I'm a Knitter by the way. I knit. A lot. I'm pretty sick at it. Check out this sweater. You like that? Yeah that's Alpaca. It's like the Olson twins of fibers. Huh? No that's not really a compliment. I mean, okay so, Alpaca at the store, fluffy, soft, good strands, that's like... uh like Full house-" ... and now you know why the girl pretends to not have any hobbies.
