I noticed my boomer mom has done a 180 on grandchildren. When I was kid, she talked about the things I can pass down onto my kids and how she would spoil them. When I was in high school and college, she was thankful I "didn't do something stupid like get a girl pregnant." Now, not long after wishing me a happy birthday last month, she brought up in a conversation how not having grandkids is fine with her.

Boomers are so weird about kids. They don't want you to have kids until you have a career under your belt (which looks more and more fleeting by the day), but weren't they the ones who started adopting kids from 3rd worlc countries to show off how empathetic they are?

That was a BPD female social media bubble thing on tiktok for the longest time along with the "AuDHD" or some shit meaning being autistic and having ADHD. All self-diagnosed of course, and used as a shield to explain their malevolent behaviors, constant conflict with everyone because they have zero empathy and never expect the negative reactions that they get.
