Boomer Hate Thread

I'll be honest, part of me feels pity for the boomers. They are terrible and they destroyed the country but they were made that way. They were the first generation to grow up completely saturated in mass media propaganda. They were an engineered generation designed by the victors of WW2 to be controlled and managed. It's why all they do in their old age is watch TV. That shit was essentially their parent. They have no concept of lineage or sense of duty to the future because those things lead to Nazis so tptb programmed it out of them via mass media, they have complete faith that no matter how bad things get do to their decisions it will all work out in the end because on TV it always works out in the end. That's how complacency was programmed into them. If you think of boomers less as a generation and more as a social experiment by a bunch of neurotic Jews in Hollywood the whole situation we are in now makes a lot more sense.

I lived with my mother until just 3 months ago. 26. Kept saving and investing. Probably couldve saved more for down payment, but I hadn't a clue where I wanted to live long term anyways. Still don't. But I'll make that decision in the next few years.
 
Me and my friend both have Boomer parents, but they're completely different. My dad is a psychiatric weirdo who literally refused to let me live at his.$900,000 house when I was at the verge of being homeless. Used to fuck me over when I used to do work for him. And my. Dad's friend parents. Literally have no problem with him living at the house, helped him get his life going in the beginning and generally admit that. Yet our generation kinda did fucked up a lot. I don't blame him because he actually has conservative parents who believe in the conservative values and believe that the country is really messed up and is completely the fault of his generation.


I tend to consider the more liberal boomers are generally the worst human beings on the face of the planet. They don't get their own hypocrisy and will literally only use some of the kids that benefit them financially or make them look good.
 
Boomers aren't only like that in the states, it's no better in western europe either. The shit I've seen. Used to be that parents supported their kids as much as they could, so they could have a leg up. With boomers, something went wrong. They got support from their parents, but the lesson they learned was not that parents support their children, but that they are people who should be supported. They keep as much money as they can for themselves, pushing their kids out at 18 if they can get away with it, or demanding/strongly insinuating their kids should support them monetarily when they retire, sometimes both. also lots of "borrowing" money from their kids and never paying it back. Theres so many broken families, not because of tragedy or divorce, but because boomer parents acted like such shitheads that the kids don't talk to them anymore. Sure, there's lots of troons and faggots going "no contact" with their families, but there's also a ton of legitimate contact breaking.
There's something wrong with the men especially. Sometimes you get those fathers who think they are hot shit, aping the whole tough love crap, having high expectations. Bad if you don't meet them, worse for you if you meet them and perform better than him, then you can watch them decompensate.
And maybe it's an age thing, but talking world news or politics with most of them, they still live decades in the past. Believe that europes industry and economy is dying because young people are lazy. That high immigration is the effect and solution, not the part of the cause of everything getting shat up.

I can relate. My worthless boomer parents didn’t bother saving anything and even stole money from me. But I put my nose to the grindstone and got a comfortable salary plus savings and investments to have a stay at home wife and four kids on. My parents wanted to kick me out when I was 18. Sure as shit they came around a couple years ago asking for money. I said you said I need to stand on my own without your help and you should take your own advice. I don’t give a fuck. My in laws are decent people who help their family so if they need help (unlikely as they do pretty well for themselves) I’ll be there. But my parents who are just hypocrites? Nope.

A lot of boomers I actually love because they are good people are dying right now. We can argue about whether this particular generation dying off is itself a good thing. But one of them was my dad. And all the others I know, who are going to die very soon, are awesome people who do not fit into the evil boomer stereotype.

My dad was also a boomer, and I mean it when I say he was a better person than I am.

He always talked to people from the perspective that you can find common ground if you avoid insulting them, except in city hall. He was an irrational dick every time he had to interact with government

When you look at it, there's a fair amount of parallels between Boomers and Millenials:
- obnoxiously nostalgic for their childhood
- emotional when things don't go their way
- both think they're the hottest shit
- both used spirituality to indulge in hedonism
- both had a destructive Woodstock festival
- both, when getting writingpositions in entertainment, merely parroted the liberal pov of societal issues

There's probably more, but I'm blanking.

Now they throw fits like Ipad kids if their wifi is down or you if take their phones from them and eat up AI slop with glee
 
I tried to have a conversation with a boomer friend of mine about how easy it was when she was a kid trying to get a good job and she just complained and I explained everything she does. You now need a college degree for. And then she said, I'm unrealistic, not a bad person. They're just kind of delusional about the modern world.

A lot of the research for the book "A Generation of Sociopaths" that named them explained the boomer as a beast of cultural conditioning as they were the first humans to have this totally culturally homogeneous upbringing because there were so many of them and mass control/mass media was honed to turn them into what they are. So no matter the level of wealth, politics or location (urban/rural, north/south, blue/red etc) they all came out completely fucked in the head in the exact same way with the same predictable behavioral pattern of 'me'.

But then you see the same type of boomer conduct elsewhere and the EuroBoomer, so are these people copying white north American boomers because its been permissible to engage in boomerism due to the success of NA boomer and what they've gotten got away with for so long or is it just something people do once they have enough money, power, and have been doted on by whatever societal upbringing they originated from.

Also yes, there is no bigger, feckless and more shameless deadbeat than the boomer deadbeat. Never give or "lend" them money you expect back because it won't happen. In fact many feel you should additionally feel sorry for them for them having to ask you for your money that they will not pay back. Even in death probably, so get a receipt.

Agree, the boomer tough guys that used to beat on their kids for crying hit low-T post-50 and turned into the biggest and the most out of control emotional cry babies I've ever seen anywhere in life including toddlers and women.

This Boomer old man asked me for price on a deck and he was acting all pissy because I told him I need 50% up front to order the extremely expensive Hardwood .
If not I told him there's going to be a additional sliding fee for the fact that I have to order the material when I need it he acted that I should eat that cost because he's not giving me 50% up front.
And he started quoting Dave Ramsey fuck Dave Ramsey he's basically the orange Boomer
