I used to think it was kinda fucked up to hear that earlier tribal humans would, and still in some parts of the 3rd world just beat old people to death because of the net drain and threat they are to the good of everyone else. There's this illusion that old people and elders are wise, but those were just the people smart enough to not act like boomers and survived because of it.

I recently had a revelation about a small aspect of boomer behavior.

Many moons ago, I used to work part-time at Home Depot. Boomer customers I would help would occasionally remark "it's nice to see a young man working" or something similar. I would say thanks, but it always confused me as there were plenty of other young men there. But recently it occurred to me that the majority of coworkers around my age were Hispanic. So the boomers were really saying "it's nice to see a young white man working".

Granted, the town that said Home Depot was in had a very large Hispanic minority, and hardware stores attract Hispanics for obvious reasons.

But my point is that Boomers do not grasp changing racial demographics. They still think it's 1990 and America is 80% white. So when they walk into a store and most of the younger employees are brown, they assume that it's because younger whites are "lazy" and not working. It literally does not occur to boomers that whites are a shrinking percentage of the population, because all the old people (boomers themselves) are white.

It's amazing how boomers believe everything at face value; like argued with this boomer and he believed that this (obviously illegal) thing was legit, and that there's a sort of supreme authority that allows things to exist and if it exists, it must be legit and 100% legal.
"If it was a scam they wouldn't be allowed to do it!"
This is one of the most rage inducing features of Boomer brain. It's why they slovenly believed every bit of crap the TV man told them over the decades and why they also believe that if TV man *didn't* tell them about it, then it didn't happen.

But my point is that Boomers do not grasp changing racial demographics.
I wonder if they knew, and were just bringing it up to remind you 🤔. Nothing is sweeter music to a boomers ears than hearing about landmines for future generations after they've slipped the surly bonds of Cracker barrel to touch the face of ZOG- and nothing is a bigger knife in the belly of the U.S/west than the declining White majority, so I'd be surprised if they were not privy to this particular project.

But the majority of Boomers voted for Trump in all 3 elections who ran on an anti immigration campaign that the media portrayed as White nationalist and nativist.

Boomers refuse to pay for kids.

Boomers refuse to pay for kids.
Hope they get murdered by some kid who had to resort to a life of crime because of being completely uneducated. It's like they don't get that there are societal consequences, even to them, from having a society full of morons. Oh well, they'll get one of these or some Haitian sadist as a nurse when they go to Hell's waiting room, the nursing home.

I hate being asked to repeat myself. It's almost always boomers, even though it's most likely me talking too fast. They're always way too polite about it and it wastes time.

Now there, I've also had issues with zoomers mumbling. "I'm not obligated to talk to you," says the zoomer working retail. Strangely, this is one place where I can't find fault in the boomers. They're loud and proud of their retarded opinions. I think I'll start bringing a tazer to make zoomers talk.

I am always just fascinated by the extreme fear of death boomers have. If you ever read old books written more than 100 years ago, it feels like most people come to terms with the fact that they are going to die eventually pretty early on in life. That's why there were so many people obsessed with honor or dying for some kind of cause, because they knew their life was only worth so much in the big scheme of things, and so they should use their life for a greater purpose.

On the other hand, when I talk to boomers it feels like most of them are children who still haven't accepted the fact that they are going to die, and they think that there is some magic health cure that will let them live forever. Just look at all the shit RFK peddles. Every boomer I meet believers in some way or another that cancer is caused by a conspiracy of some kind. How often have you heard a boomer say that one of their boomer friends died at 89 not because they were old, but because of covid, or food dye, or 5g radiation or some other bullshit health scare? No matter what, they cannot accept that people just grow old and die naturally. There HAS to be a conspiracy killing people. Both left-wing and right-wing boomers believe this bullshit to the core.

This is why boomers behave so short sightedly, they haven't internalized that they will die, so they see no need to think about the world after they are gone. They don't see the big macro trends that will lead to huge societal problems in 100 years time, they only worry about things that might cause them to get cancer and keel over at the age of 95. There must be an immediate conspiracy focused on killing THEM in particular. And none of them will admit it, but they believe if they sperg hard enough about their personal little health conspiracy, that the government will do something about it even if it costs an unpayable price for future generations. Just look at how covid was handled. The entire economy was shut down and freedom of movement was restricted so boomers could siphon off social security for 2 more years.

I just can't imagine how anyone can psychologically cope with being so useless to everyone. They simply don't think about the fact that their lives will end and they will have done nothing useful when it does. I think that's why they'll never be the "wise old men/women" that you see depicted in older art.

The real question is why do boomers not accept death in the first place?

Nobody does and we'll probably be in their place one day.

By virtue of working, they have earned their right to not give a shit and to not be bothered. I would respect 100% them if they said "today's problems are for the today's generations to solve, I just want to be left alone".

That said, not only they are not dying fast enough, they actively do the COMPLETE FUCKING OPPOSITE and undermine current efforts to unfuck things.

I wish they were the ones checking out of society, don't vote again, just fucking stay at home and enjoy your pension and well earned infinite slop.

I once had a Healthcare person put it this way. Paraphrasing: "I've had heaps of Millennials and Gen Z come in here that have already experienced some sort of medical emergency and had to adjust to that accordingly, while all the elderly folk seem to have never once thought about their own mortality until the very moment they die"

I think about that alot. Old people really do think that it they can just inch it out a bit longer, that there will be a miracle medical breakthrough next week and an age cure and immortality drug will sprout up and they can take it and live forever with their Beatles and Elvis memorabilia.

Also in the vein of people explaining Olds™, I had some old guy unintentionally explain why they love grandchildren but hate their own children. He said "I love playing with the kids but the difference with grandkids is I can leave when I'm done/tired".

That made so much click in my head.
