The lead poisoned boomer meme isn't just a meme. They literally act like they have lead poisoning, and had leaded gasoline.

The specific traits associated with this exposure include:

  • Lower Agreeableness: Reduced empathy, warmth, and consideration for others' well-being.
  • Higher Neuroticism: Increased tendencies toward anxiety, depression, emotional instability, and irritability.
  • Reduced Conscientiousness: Lower levels of organization, discipline, and goal-striving behavior.
  • Impulsivity and Aggression: Diminished impulse control leading to increased aggression, antisocial behavior, and poor long-term planning.
  • Cognitive Impairment: A documented loss of 5 to 8 IQ points on average, along with attention deficits and lower cognitive flexibility.

An interesting consequence of this is that it bucks the narrative that IQ has actually increased over time by advancement in the education system. A lot of leftists cope about that and signs show that gen z is the first to actually have a lower IQ mostly due to either COVID isolation OR ipad parenting (inclusive or). However if the boomers really were nerfed by the lead paint / pipes (probably true) then that would create a lower baseline from which the kids recovered from this external cause over time manifesting in the higher IQ points.... thus the whole liberal education reform actually didn't do shit. (for the record, I think diet and population demographics are what actually effects IQ, not education beyond some bare minimum level in order to understand certain forms of thinking)

Today I was saving a guy over $300 a year and our service actually is better and he would actually use it, but that's not enough to switch. This is over a 15% decrease... but that's not enough to switch. "I want to the best package for the lowest price"... Buddy... GRANTED, this is way better than the following which literally happens every day, multiple tinmes a day:

1) "Hi, what's got you shopping for X?"
2) 100% of the time boomer says, "I want something cheaper"
3) Now, being a boss I throw this before doing the quote, "If we were able to get you a cheaper price, would you be willing to switch to us?" They always say yes.
4) I do the quote
5) I get to the price... "So, is this less than you are currently paying? Am I giving you a good deal here?"
6) "I don't know what I'm currently paying"

Holy fucking shit.

IF YOU WERE SHOPPING FOR SOMETHING ON PRICE, WOULD YOU KNOW HOW MUCH YOU WERE CURRENTLY PAYING FOR IT? fuck

Wholesome, decent, salt of the earth Boomers are great and wonderful. May what gods that be bless their wrinkly old souls. IDK how to tell you this though: your grandma might be what we call "an outlier."

This raises a question for me. I wonder if the decent Boomers recognized the generational stupidity and bullshit of their age and hated all the other Boomers too?

Boomers came from a time when you could become the company president if you worked hard enough.

Most of the boomer thought processes are far removed from their removed from their original intention--a good one is "the customer is always right", something originally made for a nice department store in giving their well to-do customers the benefit of the doubt (meanwhile, employees were paid enough to raise a family off of), which somehow has evolved into pushing poorly-paid wagie around by "people" who will do anything to not pay for goods and services.

I know you decent boomers and the answer is yes, they really do hate their generation. My friend's parents are very decent. Boomers raise their kids right. Help pay for the kids education. And they generally hate their generation with the burning passion of how much they fucked up the country.

Boomers are truly the Indians of generations. They'll smugly use words they don't understand to try and seem uniquely smart, but it's all in bad faith to rob you.

The Indian will say "saar, if you do not let me and my 20 cousins steal your jobs then it is DEI and you are a leftist!" when they're being subsidized to fly across the world from their shithole and picked because they're cheap labor, often are picked by fellow Indians as nepo hires, and ironically count towards DEI credits.

Boomers will say "you need to pull yourself up by your bootstraps like I did! Just live in a shitbox in rural Kansas and never eat out or go on vacation!" when they worked during the greatest economy in all of mandkind, owned a big house in a major suburb with 2 cars at 25, could go on multiple big vacations a year, and then burnt it down so they could hoard all the wealth they could.

Boomers will also go on and on about how they're not the bad guys, that they wanted social security reforms, but the damn Democrats stopped them, and they want to cut down on government spending... But then get mad and call you a communist for wanting to end the government's redistribute wealth to the boomers ponzi scheme that's bankrupting the country.

The Indian just wants my job, the boomer just wants my tax dollars. Everything they say is just retroactively justifying it.

My issue with boomers is that they justify the scam that social security is, I don't care if you paid into an unsustainable system that benefits you, social security is still wrong and a scam for young people instead of biting the bullet and taking a loss in favor of younger generations they think young people should pay more taxes so they can earn more from this broken system, on top of that old people are much less likely to be poor compared to young people, so it's not like they need it, they are just greedy.

I know that when I retire the system will be broken which is why us whipper snappers need to save our money privately instead of depending of social security, when the system collapses I won't say "FUCK YOU I PAID INTO THE SYSTEM", but boomers have no shame.
