That's a favorite boomer activity: being performatively un-PC in ways that are utterly unthreatening and offend nobody but a strawman of a liberal college student (the ones they pay to send to college!)

As much as I personally think Boomer hate is overblown generational A-Logging and believe the Millennials are worse, this is one thing about Boomers that I do legit find to be utterly grating on all levels.

Most of the "OK Boomer" criticisms are petty ridiculous bullshit in my book, but calling them out on their very real tendency to fall for sensationalist anti-vaccine conspiracy nonsense and then proceed to promote it online is a valid point to take and it's a criticism of the Boomers that is a very justified one.

Boomer (and Xer) men who were fighting age during wars start talking shit like "rah rah rah these pussy kids nowadays, not like are troops, I coulda been a muhreen if I wanted..." as they get older. What the hell are you trying to do? Kill me with a golf ball? It's not enough you got all these beautiful acres fenced in for your little game, but you gotta kill me with a golf ball? You should have children playing here! You should have families having picnics, you should have a goddamn petting zoo! That's what it seems like to me. All of this rush to grow the economy and exploit other places for cheap goods and oil, roll back laws designed to regulate banks (and these were there to prevent another Depression) roll back environmental laws that prevent corporations from taking the cheapest and easiest means to dispose of their poisonous byproducts, want to gut government services for the poor and disabled services to 'save' money (while they spend it like no tommorow) and more.

Basically removing or gutting as much as they are able any law, regulation, watchdog group, or treaty, that hinders the acquisition of wealth or the means of it.

Irony is that many crow that they are Christian and will make the biggest show of it, yet God help you if you threaten their pocketbook.

The majority of the most joyless people I know are gen X, and a lot of them somehow manage to be even more authoritarian than Boomers.
At least Boomers understand the concept of fun more often than not.
