I know right? It is ridiculous that you can't make a living as an online personality and use your platform to incite violence against others at the same time without getting into trouble. In all seriousness though, if you genuinely believe that your platform is your livelihood then why on earth would you do everything in your power to compromise it? I always assumed breadtubers used it because of contrapoints heavy reliance on the aesthetic. It's probably more memetic at this point than an intentional statement. Considering how tired the whole thing is and the negative connotations it carries (Being the aesthetic of leafy and a bunch of other generally disliked clones from that time.)
Other than breadtubers the only other people that I can think of who rely on vaporwave heavily are Rags and a handful of other samey furries or Dan Bell and many of the other middle aged man wanders around an empty mall and rambles about malls channels.
