Not to power level too much but I think I'm "leftist" in the sense that I'd consider myself highly critical of capitalism, opposed to the grip corporations have on the globe, and hold opinions on geopolitical issues traditionally ascribed to the left.

However I simultaneously dislike left wingers' culturally liberal tendencies, their embrace of identity politics, their trigger-happinees when it comes to censorship and authoritarianism, and their embrace of groupthink. I think I'm willing to compromise with centrists and right wingers more than many of them are.

Whats your critique of capitalism if you want to power level a little?

I think a lot of people associate capitalism with Western Europe or North American countries (like US and Canada) when it isn't really its purest form and its more along the lines of corporatism or cronyism.

Beyond the childlike simplicity of disliking a system that even in its impure form allows billionaires to live in excess while people in the same city struggle to pay rent, I ultimately think it's hollow and alienating. I don't think money and consumerism are stable or healthy values to build a society on (if we can call them values in the first place). I admit that many leftists don't actually offer up convincing alternative values which imo makes them equally nihilistic in the long term.

Honestly I think there isn't a better system that fits humans and the finite resources we have. Everything offered up on the left is just theoretical as its actual practice has always resulted in basically the same thing which is so bad that they instantly distance themselves from it. Ultimately, I would argue, capitalism is the current best system we have at the moment and a lot of its problems stem from governments trying to fix perceived problems and making everything worse.

Outside of China and a few other smaller nations, most of the east Asian countries are much more capitalistic than the West. Those countries managed to thrive after WW2 despite pressure from a terrifying super power bent on stopping them from existing (Free Taiwan)

When you're learning English as a second language in a formal setting (like studying to become an English teacher or if you need to take the advanced Cambridge certifications), you get to choose your accent so you don't speak with an ugly mutt accent. Usually the choice is between Standard American and British Received Pronunciation.

I'd say this is a pretty advanced part of your English education and pretty much optional because most people are satisfied with speaking fluently and being understood and don't care about all the phonetics shit/ sounding like an upper class twat. Look up received pronunciation tutorials on YouTube. It's obnoxious. Kraut and other eurofag online leftists 100% had RP training.

Unrelated to the above, but I have been reading things on Reddit that he will also groom his fans and try and get in their pants. If you are a high payer on his Patreon, he offers one-on-one conversations, and some have said they’ve felt uncomfortable around him because he’s overly forward about his “high libido”. He says on his show that he’d never date fan, but I guess banging fans is okay.

Hey, I know this is an old-ass post, but I'm just curious as someone who has never seen The Red Pill but has seen Big Joel's video, what did he misrepresent about it?

This is also interesting to me because I watched a few Big Joel videos and thought he might be "decent for a leftist" but I couldn't shake the feeling he's not what he seems and I wondered if anyone else could articulate it better.
