Looking at the previous videos and their viewer count, it looks like he started out as a normal colonial history channel, blew up with some 'confederates bad and we need to burn every remnant of them!' when that was the hot button issue, then slowly started bleeding subscribers as he became increasingly unhinged and the more moderate progressive types got a bit uncomfortable. I recognize the name but I probably dismissed him as a political proselytizer and didn't watch any of his shit. His videography reminds me of those tank/gun/plane youtubers who devolve into making video after video seething about how all German manufactured war materials were actually the worst.
Looks like another youtuber may have shone a light on it.
Also, this comment made me laugh.
Sounds an awful lot like they mutilated themselves as a political statement, to make their entire existence political after it consumed their mind.

I always felt he was one of the many youtubers that got one-shot by George Floyd and the Summer of Love that followed. It was like some memetic hazard that just completely dominated these people's minds into worshiping blacks and minorities.

I haven't kept up with this thread in but it seems like that Breadtube has shrunk and gotten far less influential in the past few years. I really only ever hear about Hasan nowadays. Am I wrong here? I remember back in the day Contrapoints used to get the same media astroturfing as Hasan but then he got cancelled. There was that whole totally laughable "THIS YOUTUBER IS DERADICALIZING THE ALT-RIGHT!" sludge a few years back.

From what I gathered, breadtubers have a cycle.
1. Start a channel.
2. Try to expand the fanbase as much as you possibly can.
3. Some big drama regarding stupid shit they were doing comes out.
4. They go full isolationist and work with the fanbase they have.
Most of them have had enough turds flinged at them to go Step 4. This + not a lot of new breadtubers coming in (because why would you be a breadtuber in 2026?) means they're not as prolific as in the past, and I am thankful for this.

most of them are retarded and have to resort to talking about the same things over and over again. Beyond that, they can generally be sorted into the same few categories.
a) channels that talk about racism
b) channels that talk about troon rights
c) channels that talk about muh public healthcare and how commie blocks were actually good
d) channels that talk about actual policy
e) people that talk about palestine
note that channels can exhibit multiple of these traits and usually also sprinkle in a healthy dose of 'the alt right pipeline', and maybe some 'debates' with other leftists/ someone on the right
But see these people learned their 'history' and 'politics' from inherently biased sources (which usually were written just to reinforce a narrative and cherry pick facts that they include) and don't actually know a first thing about actual history, how to read statistics and cross examine sources (or just refuse to do so).
They recycle the same couple dozen talking points over and over again, and do debates or say some controversial shit when their channel statistics aren't doing so good. However, you can only recycle the same shit for so long before people get bored. Most of the right has also learned not to engage in their debates so they can't do that, they just have to do one of those 'exposed' videos or an 'is it just me or is xxxx really harmful...' tweet and hope that the other side actually bites the bait. But they never do so all you get are the most washed up and retarded conservacucks and alt right racists who are funny to laugh at for a while but get boring really quick.
Beyond that, the left in general has experienced a mass reduction in IQ (I didn't know it was possible for it to get even lower either), so the traditional 'free healthcare' narrative has kinda gone out the window and has largely been replaced with 'uoooooh stop israeli genocide' and 'noone is illegal on stolen land'.
Most of these people don't have the bombastic nature like Hasan does to survive making this kind of content. Hasan is evidently also pretty charismatic for retards because he has a whole circle of castrated cucks and foids who would do anything in their power to defend everything he does, not to mention that twitch has his back entirely, he can openly praise ISIS on stream and get away with it. So he can stir up as much drama as possible/ make up a bunch of shit that's false/ just say or do really abhorrent shit and risk exactly nothing. The whole new-left circle on the internet was built around him and his castrated loyalists are incapable of acknowledging the possibility of him being wrong. In essence he's garnered a level of invincibility that allows him to stir up drama without having to worry about any actual backlash.
Tldr, the troon breadtube old guard is somehow even more rizzless than Hasan, unable to even maintain a fanbase of tards and thus have fallen off.
I can see the 'true ba'athists' (which never existed) crying tears of joy whilst simultaneously experiencing cognitive dissonance as their movement has essentially been revived by a fucking turk living in california. They coincidentally both claim to be socialist without a shred of actual understanding of socialist theory as well.
