I love how these people totally do not support imperialism but it's totally okay to support imperialism and basically the equivalent of the white man's bone as long as you're saying about brown people and anytime you point this out to any of these people's fan base they literally have ab**** fit meltdown.

What they don't understand is that much of Muslim ''science'' was done by pagans and Christians given Arabic names. Muslims did very little science and philosophy on their own, and those Muslims who opened their mind to Greek science and philosophy came to see it as superior to Islam, which is why they stopped innovating science long before the Crusaders arrived, because these ''scientists'' were either lukewarm Muslims or nonbelievers, and they started persecuting nonbelievers after Harun Al-Rashid's death.
So when the Moslems invaded Visigothic Spain, they didn't find cavemen living there, there were people living in the same way they did under Ancient Rome, since tribes like the Visigoths, Ostrogoths, and Franks preserved the Roman government systems and even continued to use Roman officials, it's just that they seized control of it and collected the taxes. They were still practicing Greek science and living like Romans before Islam showed up and put an end to that in Spain. There's a reason why the local Spaniards never accepted them and waged war for them for hundreds of years until the Reconquista kicked them out. They were foreign invaders who were more barbaric than the actual barbarians who took down Rome's western empire.
So there is no justification for Islamic imperialism, and all that crap about them spreading science and math is hogwash when they more than likely STOLE it from the locals. If you look at Islam's actual positions on science, it isn't that welcoming, hence why Islam fell behind the Christian west in terms of science; the best they did was preserve Greek science, but so did the Byzantines, so they weren't alone. That's something a lot of breadtubers ignore; the fact that not only was Islam's theology not reconcilable with science, to the point where Muslims who practiced Greek science saw Aristotle as superior to Muhammad, but Islam was hardly the only power preserving the science left over from the Roman world, since an actual remnant of the Roman Empire did the exact same thing and even used that science on the battlefield with examples like Greek Fire.
Even when you look at Medieval Europe's military technology and farming techniques, they were superior to their Muslim counterparts. The latter only had a head start because they stole the Roman world's homework, and they didn't try to innovate it, but the Crusaders did, hence why the latter had weapons like crossbows, while their Byzantine frenemies had flamethrowers, and the Muslims were still using scale mail and composite bows which were inferior to Crusader armor and weapons. That's why during the early Crusades, the Crusaders creamed their Muslim foes, and the only way Islam won was due to charismatic warlords like Saladin or through extensive use of slave-soldiers who were expendable suicide shocktroops.
One question you should ask these people when they speak about how scientific and tolerant Islam is, if Islam is that good, why don't they become Muslims? Watch as you get nothing but silence as their brains slowly implode. They know they can't do it because actual Islam isn't that tolerant of ideas that question it, and they know it. They only praise Islam to bash Christianity. If they actually became Muslims, they'll soon figure out that the reality of Islam being compatible with their lofty ideals of what Islam is turned out to be completely false.
They can bitch and whine and say that early Islam was more tolerant, unlike modern Islam, but that was because the early Muslim rulers needed the help of the locals in overthrowing the Romans and the Persians, once they ceased being a threat, Islam started to dogmatize and persecute them. That's called Taqiyya; they deceive their way in to be friends with you, then turn against you once they have the numbers and no longer need to keep up a friendly face.
