He actually did try to an hero, didn't he? I can't say I'm surprised if so. We can say what we want about the risks of associating with SJWs etc., but either way this guy's just seen everything he's built up in his personal and professional life snatched away from him in the span of about a week, it must be fucking terrifying to go through. Hope he'll be okay.
 
Damn, it might actually be over, but despite that I find it strange how these people held on to evidence for months to years on end and are only just now releasing them now

His videos really do mean a lot to me, old youtube was where I learned about a lot games made before I was born. And now I found out about this...the world really was better back then.

as a poster said previously the internet pre-2020 was not as obsessed with age as it is today so a 19 year old having a scandalous convo with a 15 year old wasn't viewed as the horrible thing it is today. While I don't defend weird conversations with a 19 year old adult and 15 year old girl this whole thing just feels like a targeted attack against someone's person because god forbid someone make an albeit bad mistake years ago.

TL;DR The internet was a different place years ago, I won't defend some of those aspects, young adult with autism having access to a computer makes for a bad combo.
 
It looks like Emile is going to have it rough, but I'll give it to Tim for not abandoning everything to just act like a vulture just as everybody else is. I haven't watched these three dudes in a long while, but I'm happy that Tim is standing up when Jon sadly isn't. Just another one to throw in for Jon's having changed for the worse with the Twitch aids and never finishing Superman or Super Metroid.

This shit really is just "Zoomers don't understand autism or pre-social media internet": The Controversy. I don't even fucking like Chuggaaconroy, I find him annoying and I haven't seriously watched LPs in a decade, but he's clearly just autistic (not "internet autistic", but actually autistic) and getting nailed to the fucking wall for it, at least at the time of posting. Only one batch of receipts is even worthy of considering and it's some of the lightest ERP I've ever seen in one of these things, to the point that the E is barely even there unless I somehow managed to miss a part. I was expecting some actually explicit talk but no, its just an autist and a weirdo shutin girl talking light fetishes. You'd find far worse in the average Omegle chat.

I really do think we're going to get to a point where e-celebs don't even use twitter except as a pseudo-RSS announcement system thing because it's just too risky to even engage with these "people" at all. All of this could have gone away in a month if he had just not replied or said "Fuck off troon it was consensual here are the full logs". It'll probably still be gone in a month, because the vultures have low attention spans, but the damage is done now. Hopefully it serves as a lesson to others of what not to do.
 
Is the Vic curse a thing like the DSP or Spoony curses? It seems like any time a male online content creator makes a passing comment that's even slightly on the side of #KickVic he ends up bombarded with accusations of his own. First ProJared and now Chugga.

Anyway, I don't want to completely defend Chugga since had Kiwi Farms started just a few years earlier he probably would have had one of the very first threads here. If it wasn't for all this we all would be laughing about what a weird manchild the dude is. It's just that there's no way in hell 90% of the people on the other side are acting in good faith, and they just refuse to stop. The best course of action for him now is to just bite his tongue and stay offline; anything else will just make it even worse than it already is.

Considering Dalton was right there in the replies yet again with another "OMG sis I'm so sorry this happened to you! :hugs: " I'm calling gayops. Dalton tried this before and this Chugga stuff came out of fucking nowhere simply because of a reddit post talking about how good he was. Now we have lots of "he made me uncomfortable :( " vague postings, and decades old chat logs trying to paint the guy in the worst of lights (cringe - absolutely). This is almost like Alec Holowka where people were so blinded with outrage against him they couldn't see people's inconsistencies and out of context "evidence" in their testimonies that looks like it already yielded in someone at least attempting suicide again.

These people won't care though, they'll think it's all funny because they've already made up their minds about him, or they'll refuse to look at things in another light because "believe all victims" *no matter what*. Social media is fucking cancer.
