The Wendigoon hit-piece
The Castle Freak video where he says that Lovecraft was trans
And the The Hills Have Eyes video which is so much worse than just him saying that the cannibal clan were the good guys.

All of them were horrible and deranged. He likes to spout a lot of basic facts and widely accepted theories, interspersed with his absolutely wild claims while providing little (if any) good evidence for them. I think he does this so he can deflect any criticism by claiming that he merely stated objective facts like he did for the THHE segment of his Wendigoon hit-piece
people got extremely mad at me for recapping the plot of The Hills Have Eyes because genuinely if you go back and watch that video that that is all I am doing it is a very basic reading on Wes Craven's intended message of that film based on his own words and what he put on the screen

Really is the main taleaway. I've sat through his Scream and one other, that was less unhinged, during a slow day at work, and even before this Wendigoon drama I was kinda shocked that he was flying under the radar for his schizo-tier takes. I'm fairly certain that the Scream video has a lengthy, 10+ minute rant about the lack of POCs and LBGTBBQS++XXX in Scream 2, for some reason. His brainrot is so intense he can't even make it through the silly self-parodies without ranting about how Zack Snyder is a neo-nazi and how his alt-right fanbase got Disney Star Wars cancelled. He needs to be on some Lithium, badly.
 
I just noticed this discussion regarding IPOS. I'm a big horror fan, and I subscribed to him way back when he first started his channel. His early videos were mostly well done, even if there were some milquetoast takes every now and then. Over time however, he increased his tendency to insert his leftoid politics into the videos, and I lost interest. He was clearly an unhinged nutcase, so I unsubscribed. I ended up watching his Castle Freak / Lovecraft video because it showed up in my recommendations. There were so many ridiculous takes ("Lovecraft was trans, Lovecraft was queer!") that I knew his videos would just get more and more ridiculous.

I wasn't surprised at all by the now infamous meandering anti-conservative horror rant video. 3+ hours of bitterness, envy and a stunning lack of self awareness. It takes someone full of hubris and delusions of grandeur to think there was no way this would blow up in his face. You need money, Zane? I'm sure McDonald's is hiring. He'd be right at home with all the grease.
 

This guy is a condescending douche, and also a moron in his own right while calling movie audiences retarded. He shits on a popular videogame for rageclicks because McBlunder is a hack Youtuber. He uses terms like "othering" to describe killer robots and man-eating bugs from outer space, as if I'm supposed to give a shit that the humans are killing hostile xenos. This man is so retarded that he actually compares Helldivers, a videogame about killing space bugs, to Nazi Germany. He then immediately compares Nazi Germany to the MAGA movement. There's all manner of other stupid things he's said in this video where his arguments hinge solely on being unrealistically obtuse, like claiming that the "let it go" line from Rian Johnson's Fail Wars isn't a metacontextual message to the audience but a purely textual statement made by a villain character. Sure.

He then tries to compare the game to Cuties, and here at least he's not retarded enough to come to Cuties' defense and he instead says it's virtually indistinguishable to CSAM. What's stupid about his assessment is he believes Cuties was supposed to be a genuinely scathing criticism of child exploitation when really that very pretext is an overtly obvious cover for the CSAM that it is. They created child abuse material and got away with it by lamp-shading how bad it is, because getting away with it was the whole point of Cuites. His comparison here is that Helldivers is so good at depicting idyllic Fascism that it accidentally became an endorsement for it. I don't think anyone is this retarded, except for him.

This whole video is on par with the Hills Have Eyes review made by In Praise of Shadows where he insisted the mutant cannibals were actually Native Americans.

I'm at the point where anytime I hear "media literacy" it means that the creator is mad that the public at large disagrees with whatever their opinion on the piece is. Also I love that as a large Breadtubers identify with killer bugs more than they do with their fellow man.

i once saw some chick write a paper on starship troopers and that it was all an allegory for Nazis. blew my mind how retarded she was.

anyways she got a C- on it. this was in a bachelor tier course, but yeesh.

As usual, any and every form of authoritarianism post 20th century, even in fiction is supposed to be seen directly or indirectly as National Socialism. Are people supposed to be taking this seriously? This isn't academic study. The book and the movie are very different of one another - Starship Troopers. Robert Heinlein wrote it as a science fiction mystery and I believe the movie was made as a "parody" as a way for it either be made and not to be seen as a "fascist/authoritarian propaganda" or to make a whole joke of the mess. Whichever it is the case, it could be seen as a "analogous to a futuristic case to something like Futuristic Authoritarianism", as the doctrine of Fascism had futuristic undertones in it (according to Giovanni Gentile). Yet associate it with National Socialism and say "poor bugs" is lunacy.

Good thing she got a C-.

If I'm not completely mistaken, the director/screenwriter for the movie only read a few chapters into it and decided he didn't like the federation because he's the type of soyboy who thinks that a relatively free, functional society with healthy amounts of nationalism is "fascist."

The type of leftist who is eternally butthurt about the Soviet Union losing the cold war.

The type of bugman who is filled with so much irrational hatred for his own society, or even own species, that they'd simp for literal fucking bugs over humanity.

Ah, I see. So it was meant to subvert the film then, apparently - and ruin the story (potentially). It's what I think too, personally. Some butthurt retard that decided to demonize the Federation akin to the NSDAP in Hogan's Heroes (let's make them retarded instead of evil). And once you read the book you'll see you've been lied to by the movies.
