So that faggot Hakim decided to make a video whining about Solzhenitsyn crying about him being an anti-semite (ironic) and how he was an evil person for destroying the Soviet Union. I hid the recommendation since I do that with all breadtube videos but I thought you guys should know.

Stalinists are people that know they're being malicious and lying. Volkogonov goes over this psychological phenomena pretty well. Hakim, like many commies, have to omit facts about the USSR (like Stalin absolutely hating and killing jews), and lying about its expansionist foreign policy.
Its not hard to debunk their disinformation, but they have to engage in firehouse tactics to supress their own seeds of doubt.

Blaming Solzhenitsyn isn't anything new. Its a tired tactic of communists of all stripes to create scapegoats i.g. "le SEEEYEAYEE." Stalinists and Maoists used the charge "revisionist" to attack even communists critical of their version of communism. Its just to re-inforce the idealogical indoctrination of their particular para-social, online socialist audience these. Funny enough, it contradicts their own crude materialism. You can't really blame people like Gorbachev for fall of the USSR when the basis of your own beliefs is that men are without agency because of their economic conditions.

The fact that these fuckers simp for the Soviets goes to show they've lost it.

The Soviets were way worse than the Nazis and killed way more people for far less reasons. And the worst part about it is, unlike the Nazis, they got away with it. Stalin died in peace despite overseeing a massacre greater than the Holocaust. On his own subjects. And the Soviets continued to oppress their conquered subjects, namely the Eastern Europeans, long after the Nazis were destroyed. There's a reason why your average Eastern European sees the Cold War Era as a Dark Age.

Sounds very similar to the Nazis blaming the Jews for Germany losing WW1. Which again, goes to show that these tankies are just as bad as the fascists they claim to fight.

Also, the fact that they think people are without agency goes to show they think humans are just cogs in a machine. Which in a way, is very appropriate for people who simp for the Soviets and their empire.

I couldn't say one way or the other, but it is a way that online leftists commonly present themselves. It's a way of portraying their ideological enemy as people representing a position that they themselves have previously assumed when they were "misinformed". But don't worry, because they see the light now! It also functions as a humiliation ritual, where they self-flagellate to show their "commitment" to leftist communities. In many cases they even exaggerate how much those influences actually had in order to make their change in opinion seem more dramatic. There are quite a few different ways you can take it.

He didn't pull it off very well with one argument being that Money's victim was actually NOT TRANS AT ALL and that's why BOTH brothers killed themselves.

I don't think so. There are examples of leftists being criticized by other leftists for having been "right wing" in the past, such as Adam Something being criticized by BadEmpanada, but it is usually as a vehicle for expressing grievance over some other perceived transgression - or otherwise traces the lines of a division which is basically interior to leftist communities themselves. This is very different from them viewing the individual as insufficiently leftist simply because they used to be a "right winger". That is not exactly how the leftist communities work.

There is far more division and far more conflict within leftism than between leftists and those outside of leftism, because leftists signal boost minor personal, ideological, or financial disagreements within their community, and then shit fling to see what sticks. Obviously, if it rhetorically benefits them in the moment, they'll use whatever they need to in order to turn other people in the community against the person they don't like.

As long as you fellate them, they don't care if you used to watch Jordan Peterson. Doesn't even register as a blip on their radar. That is, until they've decided it no longer benefits them to like you, then they'll use anything they can against you.
