That's why I watch breadtubers a lot, they're great lessons in rhetoric and logic if you know how to interrogate and interpret what they say. The frustrating thing, however, is given how disingenuous and dishonest he is in his videos about J.K. Rowling (a topic I do happen to know a great deal about), as an outsider to what he's talking about in this instance, I don't know just how much I can take him at his word and trust he's being truthful about some of the claims he's making.

That's one of the worst things about the tranny shit, man, it fucks with you. It makes it hard to trust people. If they can lie to your face so brazenly and confidently about something so self-evident, how can you take anything they say seriously again?

Okay logical fallacies
- Hes trying to shoehorn in the game with character > game with fan service talking point. I agree with this but what he implied was that because its inherently better, it should be the default/majority of the market and there should be some level of social stigma attached to games with fan service, which isnt the case. Fan Service every now and then is good as long as it isnt disgusting or degenerate. Now there are varying standard differences as to what counts, I would say theres a big difference between say an ecchi with some wholesome sex jokes/designs and just big titty tight crotch characters. Best have everything in the market instead of trying to shame and subvert people for engaging with one or the other.

- He brings up the accuracy vs abstraction talking point which is another big misconception among media circles. People like to be empowered using fiction as they use it to escape from reality. That does not mean said fiction needs to 100% align with reality and be accurate to it. Hephastus being on a wheelchair or Hestia being a negress maybe accurate to reality, but its not empowering to a lot of people, it comes across as pandering to a specific minority at the cost of not pandering to others which these people have blamed other media for supposedly doing. A related point to this is that "women looking ugly fits the context of the games". No if you know women they themselves want to look attractive which is why theyre sometimes obsessed with makeup so saying these characters look ugly because theyre on the brink of survival doesnt track with reality when a lot of these characters wouldve fit those same behavioral patterns. Also people like looking at objectively attractive people.

- Classic "eurocentric beauty standard" talking point gets brought up. This is too long didnt explain - sexual dimorphism between the races vary, in traditionally white racial groups is close to 100% and decreases the closer you go from white to black. Subsaharan racial groups have little sexual dimorphism in their natural state. So usually if youre going to portray black women as attractive, youre going to have to do a lot of work like with Pam Grier or Tamara Dobson. Attraction itself is a biological trait derived from natural selection tendencies and heavily depends on sexual dimorphism. Its not some random subjective thing which can be made into a societal standard, sometimes at best it is an intersection of social standards and biology.

- Denies the different groups operating inside the games industry can be colluding. This is just ignorant or deliberate double standards. My mind immediately went to how Shaun thinks Terfs and White nationalists often collude or how Israel colludes with the US and couple other collusions between distinctly separate entities hes brought up in the past. Plain hypocrisy.

- The implication that horny games are okay when theyre "not straight" ie baldurs gate 3. Its even more ignorant of a bigger difference than normal woman vs scantily clad busty woman. Its the difference between human, animal and alien, to call it anything but degenerate is observably wrong. In this case fantasy is allowed I guess but since Shaun doesnt have charitability, Im going to call him a zoophile supporter cause hes okay with bear sex.

This is missing the contextual difference between the two.
